Hi, I was just thinking about the name PHYLLIS...

What do you all think? Is it cute, old fashioned... would it age well? Mn or fn?

It is too close to my fave name Felicity, so they probably couldn't be sisters, but I still like the name. If you would like to give me an combo suggestions that would be great too :)

I adore Felicity - bright, sparkling and joyful - so personally I would always use it in preference to Phyllis. I don't mind Phyllis but it does sound very dated to me and not a name I can really imagine on a Baby, sorry. That said, I think it would make a very sweet and unusual Middle Name with a sweet meaning!! I think if you had Twins it would be ADORABLE to call them something like:

Felicity Clara and Clarissa Phyllis

Just a thought, hope this helps!! :)

I dont personally love it, and cant lie that my feelings for Phyllis once were similar to Bertha or somthing <3 but the more I hear it, I can imagine it on someone elses kiddo. I still dont care for it but can see the appeal.

 

Were you wanting it as a mn to not clash with Felicity? Or no?
