HELP! we can't decide on a short and sweet name for baby girl #2 that we're expecting!

 

We have a 2 yo daughter named Lyla and a super long Polish last name - so 1st name has got to be a short and simple one. DHs name is Jeremy and mine is Alana

 

Middle name for this lil one will be May (family tradition) - I'd prefer a name that can't easily be shortened and that is not in top popularity currently...

 

Here are the 3 that we're torn between

 Liv

 Elle

 Lana

I think Elle May is nice (although it does remind me of Almay).  Lana I feel might be a bit too similar to your name and I find Liv May a bit awkward sounding.

I like Lana May best, but I agree with PP about it being too close to your name. So, my vote is for Elle May.

I think first name should finish with A because your last name ends with I- it's ending for men. from these 3 names best is Lana, but think about Lena, Lisa or Laura (Liv Brzozowski sounds as a boy name).
