So my nickname among my closest friends is Nana (hence my display name Katie-Nana). Its kind of a long story... BUT...

I've been thinking that Nana would make an adorable name/nickname for a little girl. Does that make me crazy? It makes me think of the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love. where Emma Stone's character is named Hannah but has the nickname Nana which only her family uses since she couldn't say Hannah when she was little.

I just think it is super cute, however, Hannah nn Nana is not an option since I have a first cousin named Hannah. The only other name I can think of is Anna but another cousin has a daughter Annabelle which takes Anna off the table as well.

Normally I'm not big on nicknames, if I find one I like I forgo the full name and just use the nickname, but with Nana I feel that might be a bit odd.

Any suggestions?

Usually when I hear Nana, I assume that the person is referring to their grandmother. Sorry. :(

There's Nancy, and Brianna. Maybe stretch it to Eleanor?

I think any name with Anna in it could work.. but it would be close to both Hannah and Annabelle.

Here's a few ideas though:

Anaya

Narissa

Is it Nana because of Katherine Anna? (Or was it Ann?)...

Thanks Yassy! It is Katherine Ann but they call me Nana because of the movie Mary Poppins, the Nanny that leaves at the very beginning of the movie is called Katie Nana :)
