I AM SO STUCK ON A NAME FOR OUR BABY GIRL. THIS WILL BE OUR LAST CHILD AND ONLY GIRL. THERE ARE SO MANY NICE GIRL NAMES OUT THERE BUT THEY ARE ALREADY TAKEN BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

WE LIKE GRACE FOR A MIDDLE NAME, BUT WE ARE STUCK ON A FIRST NAME.

OUR CHOICES ARE , WITH THE FIRST TWO BEING FAVORITES:

AMELIA (LOVED THIS ONE UNTIL MY MOTHER IN LAW "KINDLY" POINTED OUT THAT THERE IS A BIRTH DEFECT CALLED AMELIA)

EVERLY (LOVED THIS ONE AND STILL DO BUT MY COUSIN NAMED HER 3 MONTH OLD BABY GIRL EVELYN, IS IT TOO SIMILAR?)

BETHAN

GEMMA

CHARLOTTE

ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED. SHE IS 3 DAYS OLD ALREADY AND NAMELESS

You seem to like quite elegant, classic names. Very British sounding names too. Charlotte and Gemma are both great.

Here's a few ideas.

Leila
Phoebe
Elise
Georgia
Clarissa
Katherine
Holly
Veronica
Eleanor
Lydia
Caroline
Marnie
Olivia
Emily
Josie
Brenna
Edie
Amelie
Vivian
Daisy
Tahlia
Anna
Nicola
Rosalie
Hazel
Felicity
Camille
Evie
Julie
Nora
Madeleine
Ginny
Scarlett
Emma
Fiona
Natalie
Ava
Claire
Eloise
Sadie
Joanna
Matilda
Zoe
Delilah
Ruby
Molly
Abigail
Sophie

I think Amelia is absolutely fine. It's so popular right now I doubt anyone even knows the connection. As for Everly and Evelyn.. they are a little close IMO.

Amelia Grace sounds perfect imo

But also if you like Everly... might I suggest my personal favorite right now (and it is actually on my list with the MN Grace :P )...

Emery Grace
or even Emerson Grace nn Emma

Good luck!! let us know what you decide on !

I love Amelia and don't associate it with the birth defect at all! It's a rather popular girl's name right now, and I don't think too many people are even familiar with the birth defect. Amelia Grace would be a lovely choice. I also love the spunky name Gemma, and Gemma Grace is sweet as long as you don't mind the double G. Everly is too trendy for me personally, and it is rather similar to Evelyn, but I don't think it's TOO similar. Charlotte is lovely though incredibly common and not a name I'd use personally. Bethan isn't for me, it just seems unfinished. Might a suggest Emilia or Emmeline? Both are similar to Amelia and Gemma, and they eliminate your worries about the association with the birth defect. However, if Amelia is a long time favourite, I think you should just go with that and not worry about it. Good luck and congrats! :)

I love Amelia too. You could always use the other spelling "Emilia" (like British actress Emilia Clarke from GoT) if the birth defect thing bugs you. I think it's pronounced basically the same???

I'd go for Charlotte Everly or Amelia Beth.
