So I'm momentarily crushing on Jonathan. I like it better than Jace which I know Martin loves. I'm hoping he'd agree to using a "C" middle name and then call him Jace the same way he agreed with Iggy. I like the idea but I feel like it's a complete "Mortal Instruments" rip off. But how many will know that series (maybe with the movie coming out it may be more) or that I've read it?
Jonathan?

What part is mortal instruments Jonathan nn "Jace" or just Jonathan?
I think Jonathan has such a long history that it wouldn't be too strongly associated with any specific pop culture reference. However, if it is Jonathan nn "Jace" it could be associated with Mortal instruments since Jace isn't traditionally a nickname for Jonathan but I don't see that many people being able to point it out.

The nickname Jace is the part that's from Mortal Instruments. One of the main character's name is Jonathan Christopher and he goes by Jace.
