So here's the list of names from my son's 3 year old preschool class. 

 

 

Girls: 

 

Abby

Angela (twin of Sami)

Aryah

Beatrix

Clara

Jane

Ruby

Sami (short for Samantha)

 

 

Boys: 

 

Austin

Cade

Callum

William (my son)

Oliver

Thijs (pronouced Tice)

Abby- Is this a nickname for something like Abigail, or a standalone name? Either way, it's cute.

Angela (twin of Sami)- I'm not crazy about Angela, but it's not bad.

Aryah- Very pretty, but I prefer the spelling Arya or Aria.

Beatrix- Not a favorite, but it has an old-fashioned yet spunky feel that's starting to grow on me.

Clara- It's okay, but I prefer Claire.

Jane- For some reason, I've always hated this name. 

Ruby- Cute.

Sami (short for Samantha)- I love Samantha! Sami is a cute nickname, but I would prefer not to shorten it.

 

 

Austin- I've never liked this name. It probably has less to do with the sound of the name itself than some of the people I've known that have this name...

Cade- Cute! 

Callum- Another nice name. I like it as a more unusual alternative to Collin and similar names.

William (my son)- My favorite name on the boys' list! I've always loved this name. You have great taste. 

Oliver- It's okay. I neither like nor dislike this name.

Thijs (pronouced Tice)- I don't like this one. It looks and sounds made-up to me.
