Is this a good idea or not? Because one of the reasons I like Jude so much is because of the song Hey Jude.

It really depends on the song. I'd use Jude (Hey Jude) but I wouldn't use Blue (Blue Does) because its just not my style. Unless its intrinsically tied to a song and ONLY that song I'd say go for it.

I agree with Erin that it depends on the song. I think if it is a song considered "classic" like Hey Jude, it is best, as well as if the name isn't just tied to the song (as Erin said).

I say go for it! I love names which have significance and if it's from something like a song you love, that's great. There's very few names which are so associated with a name it'd be the first thing you'd think of... Jude is one of the most song-connected names I'd say, and that's pretty popular!
