We are using my husbands deceased mothers name as a middle name for our first girl-Gertrude. Dont worry I wouldn't be that cruel; we will use Trudy. However there is nothing that I can find to use as a first name! My husbands background is very German if you can't tell. Would love any suggestions

I actually think Gertrude makes a fine middle name, especially if you pair it with something beautiful and flowy, like Olivia, Isabel, or Lorelei.

What is your mother in laws middle name? Maybe that would be an easier pairing?
