I totally agree. I posted elsewhere and people where like "it's unique and will stand out" and "there is a reason for every name" So what? Luna is the one that will have to grow up leaning how to spell it?

Wow, what a mouthful! I can see her in the future, filling out forms, etc. Maybe she'll shorten it to Rosalind Florence??? BTW, out of all those names, where did they come up with the nn Luna???

I think they got Luna from Altalune..If I was Luna I would be changing my name at 18 to LUNA!

I read an article about her name on PEOPLE. Each name had a special meaning to them. Here's the article if anyone is interested. http://celebritybabi...alune-florence/

So, part of me sees the appeal of having 5,000 names or naming my child 50 different things. I don't know, it seems so...decadent and elegant and fancy and..yeah.
On the other hand, I feel for that child. Her name is pretty, but good grief. Are her parents not planning on having any more children, so they had to saddle her with all their dream names?
I feel like when Luna grows up and writes her autobiography, the fact that her parents gave her such a complicated name will take up a full chapter.

Reminds me of Princess Diaries :)

I think Luna is lovely but maybe a bit too rhymy with Uma?

I actually think Rosalind as a first name is gorgeous!

It IS a little long, but these days that's nothing too out of the ordinary. Luna and Uma are a little close, but hey, I've heard worse! It'll probably be easier for her to spell Luna than Rosalind. I think Rose or Ros would have been adorable, though.
If each name has a special meaning and considering they're celebrities, I don't see it posing too much of a problem.

Also... I love that used Florence..

Why so long? Roaslind is quite nice, as is Luna. I don't think it needed to be that long.

I actually like Princess Mia as she's known in TPD full name!

The name is a mouthful but hey if royals can do it...I can imagine TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge baby name being long!!!

Haha, yeah it's pretty in a really decadent can't-believe-I-ate-three-really-rich-chocolate-cupcakes sort of way. :D
And yeah, very curious as to what William & Kate's baby will be named. Something traditional, obvs. Shame, cuz I think it would be totally hilarious if they busted out with a crazy name...
