Moxie

I am just at awe with this name.

It's so daring and edgy which makes me want to use it even more.

What do you think of the name and what would you pair it with?

Hm. I can't say it's something I would ever consider using, but I do see it's appeal. It would be very cute on a little girl, but then if I try to imagine a 30-something woman named Moxie... well, it's kind of hard!
But if I did use it, maybe I'd do something like Moxie Caroline, Moxie Antonia, or Moxie Geneva.

Right, I get where your coming from.

I love Moxie Caroline.

By the way, your the only other person I know who associates the name Fallon for a girl's name!

Really? I've only ever heard of it on a girl! I can't imagine it being a boy's name. It's kind of princessy in my mind!

I agree with Aly. Moxie doesn't seem like it would age well in my opinion. It doesn't sound feminine to me, either. My neighbors have a dog named Moxie, so I associate it with that! I really like the suggestion of Moxie Caroline. I also like:

Moxie Georgia
Moxie Danielle
Moxie Christabel
Moxie Nicole
Moxie Alexis
Moxie Virginia
Moxie Winter
Moxie Regina
Moxie Rachel
Moxie Julia

Moxie CrimeFighter Jillette is the only thing that comes to mind.

Moxie sound more like the name of a Bond Girl or a dog than a real person to me.

Wow, do you know me?! Ha, ha! Moxie is one of my favorite girls' names, but is sadly on my guilty pleasure list! I love it and I love its meaning, but I wouldn't name my child that. How about a name w/ the nickname Max? Max is similar to Moxie and can work for both genders....

Maxima
Maxine
Maximiliana

Or call her Moxie as a nickname. Be warned, though, that you might want to use Moxie at home only, where she's less likely to be called "Maxi Pad".

Ha! I was just browsing and found it!

It's just one of those 'Oh I love this let's use it' when in reality, nooooo!

In Canada we have a chain of restaurants called "Moxie's" I don't know if it's anywhere else, but that's the first thing that I think of when I hear Moxie.
Which isn't really a bad thing, it might be kind of cool for a kid to go eat somewhere that has the same name as them, but again I can't see it aging past about 18..

Do you like Roxie? You could possibly use Roxanne with a nickname Roxie.

I'm sorry, but it makes me think of the soda my grandma drinks :(

Posted Image

If you go on google images you'll see the old adds with the guy on the top in more detail saying "Drink Moxie!". I think he looks scary lol

I can see how you might like it though! May I suggest... Roxie? Roxanne is such a cute name! It makes me think of the movie Chicago, love it! <3

Hope this helps!!

My friends boyfriend is Fallon.
Its more of a boy name to me, but I would never ever, ever use it. It's on my No-No list.

Moxie Renae
Is what I would use if I named my girl that, I love the name aswell besides the previous associations >.>

Also about the name Fallon, my future sister-in-laws name is Fallon so its all girl imo :)

and those tampons are adorable which is weird because "adorable" and "tampons" never seemed like they would be in the same sentence together.
