I've done a Name Advice thread before, but I never had the time to maintain it. Now that school's out for the summer, I have a lot more time on my hands and spend most of the day on the site anyway. Post names and/or combos you would like opinions or advice on. I will not be rating names on a scale; I just don't feel right completely downgrading a name that someone else loves. My intention is to be goodhearted and politely honest, never mean or rude. Don't worry about list length; I'll answer when I can. I do have a volunteer job two to three days a week, so it depends on that, but I'll always answer. I also ask - even though this is the most polite site I have ever found on the internet - that as I have pledged not to be rude to you, please do not be rude to others or me. Thank you! <3

Piper Rosalie Mae
Larsen Bristol Kathleen
Millie Scarlett Faith

Wilder Judson Knox
Finn Theodore Jude

TIA!

This is kind of funny because I believe you were my first reply on my other advice thread with these names. :)

Piper Rosalie Mae: I have always loved the name Piper! It was one of my first favorite names that got me interested in naming. I first heard it watching Charmed and fell in love with it and the connotation that came with the character. I also love the name Rosalie as both a first and a middle! This is coincidentally a combo on my list and one of my favorites. That combo in itself is gorgeous and adding Mae to it magnifies its femininity and beauty as well as balances it out. Beautiful name overall!

Larsen Bristol Kathleen: As I said before, I've never heard Larsen as a first name, but I find it absolutely beautiful, especially on a girl. In the time between my other feedback thread and now, I feel my style has grown, for lack of a better word, and I find myself more often liking names like it such as Auden, Ardyn, Anwen, and Bronwen. Bristol compliments it beautifully and flows well with both it and Kathleen. As I believe I said in my other thread, I do prefer Katherine, but I think Kathleen is a gorgeous compliment to Larsen Bristol and balances out the flow.

Millie Scarlett Faith: I'm not fond of many "nickname names." Although it is still adorable and still works well as a first name, if I were to use it, I would do so as a nickname for either Amelia or Matilda. As I mentioned before, my naming style has grown as I was not very fond of color names in the past, but they've begun to grow on me. Although I would never use it myself, Scarlett is one of my favorite color names and flows well with Millie. If it were just these two together, I would say the flow of the name is slightly off, but Faith compliments it well and balances it out, making for a beautiful name. Looking at Faith as a stand alone name, I would say it is somewhat overused as a first name and acts as a filler middle name. However with Scarlett taking a spot between the first name and Faith, it balances out, as I said, beautifully.

Wilder Judson Knox: I absolutely adore this entire combo! I believe in my other thread the first name was Wiley, but I love this as well. I think they're both handsome names, and I find myself liking the flow of Wilder a bit better. The name in itself has a sort of edge to it. I don't exactly know how to describe it...tough...strong. Hopefully, you get the gist. I'm fond of the name Judson as a unique spin on Hudson which has a negative connotation for me personally. I love the name Knox (as a die-hard Harry Potter fan)! The combo as a whole flows well and is very handsome. It's something I can picture growing well with a little boy.

Finn Theodore Jude: I believe in my other thread the combo was simply "Finn Theodore." At that time, I thought it needed another syllable and had suggested Finley, but Finn is one of those nickname names that has grown on me. I love, love, love the name Jude. It is paired with so many names on my list, I don't know how I'll ever pick my favorite if and when the time comes. It adds that one syllable touch the combo needed and flows smoothly. I love it!

Thanks for your post! I in no way meant to be rude, disrespectful, or offensive in any of my comments. Have a great day (or whatever time it is in your area)!

Newer faves:
Juniper (girl) "Juno"
Remington (boy) "Remi"
Hawthorne (boy) "Hawk"

Combo suggestions would be great!

I used your "Top Ten" lists for some of the combos.

Juniper "Juno": I love the name Juniper! It is one of my favorite nature names; it's classic yet cute! The nickname "Juno" is absolutely adorable! I can see it on a little girl, but she would be the one to decide whether she uses it as she gets older. When it comes to combos, I would go with either a one-syllable name - short and sweet - or a longer 3+ syllable name. I'll try to be diverse. Here are some possibilities:

Juniper Dawn

Juniper Sage

Juniper Bristol

Juniper Willow

Juniper Larsrn

Juniper Shihloh

Juniper Rosalie

Juniper Madison

Juniper Katherine

Juniper Gwendolyn

Remington "Remi": This is the first time I've heard this name, but it's so strong and handsome! I love it! I can picture it growing well on a little boy who grows to be rich and successful, but I do agree he needs a nickname while he's younger (and when he's older if he chooses). "Remi," although cute, brings to mind the main character from Ratatouille (the Pixar movie about the mouse who runs away and ends up in the kitchen of a famous restaurant in Paris and becomes the head chef). "Rem" is kind of cute, though. When it comes to middle names, I would say to avoid the short I sound (ex: sick) as it is already in Remington. Also, anything ending in -on. Possible combos:

Remington Hawthorne

Remington Theodore

Remington Wilder

Remington Ford

Remington Arlo

Renington North

Remington Jasper

Remington Seth

Remington Colt

Hawthorne "Hawk": This isn't the first time I've heard this name, but it is the first time I've heard it outside of The Hunger Games series. When I heard it then, I never would have pictured it as a name. (In all fairness, I read The Hunger Games four years ago, and I wasn't as "obsessed" with baby names then, so I didn't look for them everywhere like I do now.) In my personal opinion, the association with Gale Hawthorne (one of my favorite characters) isn't negative, nor the connotation that comes with it. I find him to be brave and strong, as well as tenderhearted and selfless. If you're worried about people assuming that's where you found the name, I wouldn't worry too much. The franchise has...ended, in a way, All the books and movies are out, so there shouldn't be any "recharged hype" if you know what I mean. As I said, I find the name strong and handsome. "Hawk" on it's own is equally strong and handsome, but cute and able to better on a little boy. When it comes to middle names, I would avoid T names as the sound is already so prominent, Also, in everything I've paired it with, I'm finding two or three-syllable names to work best with a few exceptions. Possible combinations:

Hawthorne Remington

Hawthorne Jericho

Hawthorne Apollo

Hawthorne Maddox

Hawthorne Dakota (I personally prefer Dakota on a girl, but the name still fits.)

Hawthorne Phoenix

Hawthorne Maverick

Hawthorne Joshua

Let me know what you like.

Thanks for your post! I in no way meant to be rude, disrespectful, or offensive in any of my comments. Have a great day (or whatever time it is in your area)!

Maude Florence

Olwen Thomasina

Rosamund Fawn

Bernadette Io

Cecilia Nyx

Theodore Galen

Russell Hemingway

Neville Aubrey

Noah Valentine

Digby Shepherd

Maude Florence: This name is gorgeous! It's a smidge to vintage to be something I would use, though. I'm more partial to Maren [mar-en (as in car)] and Maeve. I think Florence brings a feminine sweetness to Maude that it would have been lacking on it's own. As I said, overall gorgeous name.

Olwen Thomasina: The name Olwen is so pretty! I don't know why, but it brings to mind a wise, intelligent women who has lived a long life...It rolls off the tongue very smoothly. However Thomasina seems somewhat made up. I didn't want to be incorrect, so I looked it up, and it is a name. It seems like one too many syllables as well. If you're honoring someone named Thomas, Tamsin is the English variation or I also found the name Thomasin after some research. Just removing one letter off the end made it look a whole lot different. Although, neither of them flow well with Olwen (because of the repeating -in sound)...what do you think?

Rosamund Fawn: I never particularly liked the name Rosamund in the past, but it has come to grow on me, as well as some other "vintage" names. It has a unique beauty to it. I picture it growing well on an intelligent, strong, independent woman. Fawn is so adorable! It contrasts Rosamund beautifully and balances it out. Some similar names I like (that also pair well with Rosamund are Dawn, Alice, June, and Maeve.

Bernadette Io: Bernadette is lovely, but I can't picture it on a little girl...the only nicknames I can think of are Bernie and Dettie, both of which would give her a rough time in the U.S. I don't know about England. I'm what one would call fairly uncultured, but I one day hope to travel to England; it seems so beautiful. Io reminds me of an alien character from the 2013 movie Escape from Planet Earth. (It is a Canadian-American movie...very strange to say the least,) The "alien" was known for her extreme temper and anger issues; this is what she looks like. If you're looking for something short and sweet, may I suggest:

Bernadette Ivy

Bernadette Rose

Bernadette Eve

Bernadette Lily

Bernadette Maeve

Bernadette Pearl

Bernadette Ruby

Bermadette Iris

Bernadette Louise

Bernadette Edith

Bernadette Sage

or something from Greek Mythology, may I suggest:

Bernadette Gaia

Bernadette Athena/Athen

Bernadette Calliope

Bernadette Callista (variant of Calysto)

Bernadette Selene

Bernadette Rhea

Bernadette Phaedra

Bernadette Althea

Bernadette Daphne

Bernadette Penelope

Bernadette Atlanta

Let me know what you like. :)

Cecilia Nyx: I love the name Cecilia! It's one of those "vintage names" I think I mentioned are growing on me. It's so beautiful and sophisticated. It flows beautifully with Nyx, which I also love (along with Lux)! It has a beautiful meaning: "embodiment of the night!" I'm also noticing Greek Mythological theme here. I love Greek Mythology and hope to take it as an "extra curricular" class in college,

Theodore Galen: I absolutely adore the name Theodore! It's so classic, strong, and handsome! Also, the nickname "Theo" would be so adorable on a little boy until he gets older and can choose what he wants to be called. I haven't ever heard the name Galen, but it sounds so handsome! It compliments Theodore well and flows well with it. This is a very handsome name overall.

Russell Hemingway: I absolutely adore the name Russell!! It's cute and sweet on a little boy and grows well on a man. I know one Russell. He's about five or six, and he is the most tender, kind-hearted, sensitive, pure little boy I have ever met! I may be uncultured, but I am well-read, and I love Ernest Hemingway. My absolute favorite novel of his would have to be The Sun Also Rises. Now I'm curious...do you have a favorite Hemingway work? Back on topic...I never thought to use Hemingway as a name, but it's so handsome and has so much meaning behind it! I love it! Amazing combination!

Neville Aubrey: The name Neville has negative connotations for me personally, so I don't feel as though I could give an unbiased opinion. I know Aubrey is technically considered a unisex name, I find it suits a girl better. However, the name as a whole flows fairly well.

Noah Valentine: I absolutely love, love, love the name Noah, even though I don't much go for popular names. It's so sweet and tender yet handsome and strong. (I also love it on a girl, but some would disagree,) Valentine, however, seems overly feminine to me even though it is technically a masculine name. If you are looking for a name meaning "strength" or "powerful," as Valentine does, may I suggest:

Noah Gabriel (a personal favorite of mine)

Noah Samson

Noah Elias

Noah Walter

Noah Andrew

Noah Everett

or a Shakespearean name, may I suggest:

Noah Cassius

Noah Lucius

Noah Sebastian

or a Saint name, may I suggest:

Noah Abel

Noah Crispin

Noah Finnian

Noah Henry

Noah Gregory

Noah Jude

Noah Killian

Noah Silas

Noah Vincent

Let me know what you like. :)

Digby Shepherd: Digby is so cute and handsome! It pairs well with Shepherd, which is strong and handsome with great meaning behind it. As the little boy grows up, you could call him "Dig" or "Shep" (I love Shep!), and he could decide what he wants to be called later. The combo as a whole flows very smoothly and is very handsome.

Thanks for your post! I hope you know that I never meant to be disrespectful, rude, or offensive in anything I said because, as I said at the top of the thread, I feel completely wrong downgrading a name that someone else loves. Please let me know what combos you like. I did a lot of research to make sure I found alternatives you would like. Have a great day!

Also, pinkmunky, that list might take me a day or two, so I hope you won't be upset with me.

Thank you for your opinions!

I'm not sure about Tamsin and Thomasin, although I don't mind the latter. I've adored Thomasina for years, but I do agree that the combo as a whole is a little long; it would probably work better with a one syllable first name.

If I were to use Bernadette as a name for my daughter, I would call her Birdie as a day to day nickname. I like Io for its space connotations, but the flow with Bernadette is a little stilted. From your list I like Bernadette Ivy, Bernadette Iris, Bernadette Sage, Bernadette Gaia, Bernadette Athena, and Bernadette Daphne.

From your list of suggestions for Noah I like Noah Samson, Noah Lucius, Noah Finnian, Noah Silas, and Noah Vincent.

Here are some more combos:

Annabel Joy

Ava Clarity

Cassandra Pearl

Cordelia Faye

Estelle Georgiana

Tessa Primrose

Abraham Dax

Asa Wolfgang

Frederick Basil

Leo Wilfred

Otto Bellamy

Rufus Mordecai

Combos

Marnie Lynn Isabeau: This name is gorgeous! Marnie is so adorable! Some may call it a nickname name, but I love it. I don't much go for nickname names, but I have a few that are growing on me. It reminds of The character Marnie Cromwell from the Halloweentown movies. I don't know if that's what you were going for, but I absolutely adore the connotation that comes with it because of that character. She was strong, independent, brave, albeit stubborn. She has qualities a little girl can look up to. Lynn isn't one of my favorite names - a little too vintage for my taste - but it's cute and works for this combination. I love Isabeau! It brings to mind the main character in the TV series Lost Girl - Isabeau "Bo" Dennis. She exhibits a lot of the same qualities as Marnie. You'd be in for one independent, stubborn little girl!  ;) Overall, this is a gorgeous name, though the flow may be a tad  off...maybe Marnie Isabeau Lynn? What do you think?

Khione Elisse: Not gonna lie...I had to look up how to pronounce the first name. Mental note: Key-own-nee. That's what I thought; I just wanted to make sure. After a little research, I discovered that Khione is the Greek goddess of snow and is in the Percy Jackson book series. What a beautiful and powerful meaning! I also love, love, love names from Greek Mythology, especially for girls. I also love Elisse! I personally prefer the Elise spelling, but I think Elisse pairs better with the first name. I love the meaning and the flow! Overall, this combo is gorgeous!

Wrenley Peyton: The name Wren has negative connotations for me personally because of someone I know, but Wrenley is absolutely adorable! I love the way it flows with Peyton. Peyton isn't something I would use personally as I know two (a boy and a girl). But I love certain boys' names on a girl! Some of my favorites are Noah, Micah, and Dylan. Back on topic...the name is beautiful and flows very smoothly.

Kiyomi Inez: I had to look up pronunciation again...mental note: Key-oh-me. Okay, good. I Googled "Kiyomi" and may have needed to be more specific because it yielded a ton of videos of a Korean song...Take Two: "Kiyomi name." According to Behind the Name, it is a combination of two Japanese words: "kiyo" which can mean either holy and sacred or pure and clean and "mi" which means beautiful. While the name itself my have to grow on me, I am absolutely in love with the meaning behind it! As for Inez, I'm not too big a fan. It's a little too vintage for my taste and doesn't flow well with Kiyomi ("I" sound is back-to-back). This isn't my favorite of you're combinations; I'm sorry. I think Kiyomi would be find to use, but as far as middle names go, may I suggest:

If you're looking for something vintage...

Kiyomi Agnes

Kiyomi Florence

Kiyomi Iris

Kiyomi Margaret

Kiyomi Pearl

Kiyomi Prudence

Kiyomi Cecile

Kiyomi Winifred

Kiyomi Maude

Kiyomi Maeve

or a Saints' name...

Kiyomi Adelaide

Kiyomi Anastasia

Kiyomi Celine

Kiyomi Frances

Kiyomi Gabrielle

Kiyomi Louise

Kiyomi Madelyn (the site said Madeline, but the name would flow better as Mad-uh-lynn.)

or a name meaning pure...

Kiyomi Taryn

If you want a vintage Saint's name that means "pure" (the three categories that Inez fits into), then the name is Kiyomi Agnes.

Camreigh Aida Faun: The name Camreigh is adorable, but it isn't something I would use as it reminds me of the car model Camry. I love the name Aida, even though I wouldn't use it. I never thought to spell it Aida but find it looks so much nicer than Ada. If the name were to stand on it's own - Camreigh Aida - I would say it needed something...an extra syllable which Faun so sweetly gives it. Even if you left the name as Aida Faun, it would be adorable! The name as a whole is gorgeous and flows perfectly.

Chyler Clarklyn Maud: I love the name Chyler! It's so cute and reminds me of Chyler Leigh who played Lexi Grey on Grey's Anatomy. Clarklyn is so gorgeous, however, it doesn't flow very well right next to Chyler. (The hard "C" and "L" sounds are too close together.) I do love Maud, though I perfer the Maude spelling. As far as flow goes, it might flow better as Chlyer Maud Clarklyn, but that strongly depends on the surname, and it's still a tad off.

Teylie Westlyn Grace: I've never heard of Teylie before, but I may be falling in love with it now! I prefer it so much more than the rising Tayla which just sounds like it's missing something. I love, love, love the name Westlyn! It's on my list as one of my favorite names, but I haven't found anything to pair it with yet. It's beautiful! I don't normally go for middle names like Grace, Marie, etc. as I find them to be "space fillers," but in this case it works. If you had just left the name as Teylie Westlyn, it would've been cute but missing something which Grace gives it. Overall, the name flows beautifully and is absolutely gorgeous!

Evalee Tasya Kylette: Okay...in my mind, there are a few ways you could pronounce either of these, so I'm going to do my best to describe them. Evalee: 1) Eva-lee (as if it were two separate names) 2) Eve-uhlee (more rushed; less stress on "lee"). I hope these make sense. Tasya: 1) Toz-ya 2) Taz-ya 3) Tase-ya (as in like a police officer's taser). Kylette: 1) Kye-let 2) Kuh-let 3) Kye-lit. I can't really say if they flow well without knowing which parts are "stressed," but either way, Evalee is gorgeous!

Esmeray Faeryn: On this, I'm assuming based on what I know that Esmeray is pronounced Ez-mer-ay, and Faeryn is pronounced Faye-rin. Correct if I'm wrong. It does sound beautiful this way, though! I may be adding Esmeray to my list...  ;) The sound of the name is so beautiful! It just flows! I love it!

Casey Phoenix Elijah: The name Casey isn't a name I would use but only because it's not my style, and a know a Casey, but it's cute. It flows very well with Phoenix which is one of those names that is growing on me...I'm beginning to love nature-related names! That name in itself would be adorable. but Elijah gives it an extra kick that I love. And I love the name Elijah! This name is so handsome and has a great flow!

Jesse Phoenix Teilo: Jesse again isn't something I would use personally, but it's still cute, as with Casey. Again, Phoenix is growing on me. Not gonna lie...I had to look up how to pronounce Teilo. Mental note: Nameberry says Tay-lo. Okay, good. It's another name that isn't my style. I've never really looked too much into Welsh names, but I think that it fits well with the rest of the name. Overall, the name is so cute and has a great flow.

Rafferty Elijah: Rafferty is so cute! It's adorable and sophisticated all at once! I love the way it flows with Elijah which, as I said, is one of my favorite names. I love the flow. If you do add a second middle name, I would probably stick with one-syllable. Rafferty Elijah Tate would be cute.

Tierney Daxton Ford: I love Irish names! Tierney is one of my favorites! I love it on a boy, and prefer Tiernan on a girl. It flows so well with Daxton, something I've never heard before but it's an adorable and handsome alternative to the ever-popular Jackson. I love how well Ford compliments the rest of the name and balances out the flow. Ford is so strong and handsome! Overall, the name is very handsome and has a smooth flow.

Phoenix Kylo Thane: As I said, the name Phoenix is growing on me. Kylo is cute and reminds me of Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens which doesn't bother because I'm a huge nerd, but he is the villain. I do prefer Kylen, but I don't think it would work for this name as well as Kylo does. Thane isn't something I would use myself because it just isn't my style, but it does give the name a little extra kick...though Phoenix Kylo would be cute on it's own.

Jameson Enzo: Jameson is one of my favorite names! I love it so much more than James! However, it doesn't flow very well with Enzo. (The -en sound is back-to-back: Jameson Enzo.) Instead, may I suggest Jameson Renzo? It is Italian and a diminutive of Lorenzo (like Enzo) and contains Enzo while breaking up the flow.

Daxon Roscoe  Duke: As I said above, Daxon is an adorable and handsome alternative to Jackson. However, both Roscoe and Duke remind me of a dog's name. I'm sorry; I really don't mean to be rude. My brother actually named one of his dog's Roscoe, and this is the road name that my cousin's husband got when he got initiated into a local motorcycle club. That just isn't something I would want associated with my son. The name Duke reminds me of a movie released in 2010, Marmaduke. (A family moved into a new, rich neighborhood, and their mischievous Great Dane, Marmaduke, wreaked havoc.) I'm sorry. I hope you know it is not my intention to be rude.

Cyrus: This is so cute! It's one of my favorite names! As I said, I'm a nerd, and I love Harry Potter. One of my favorite characters is Sirius Black, but Sirius was never my style for a baby name. In short, I wanted to find something similar, and I came across Cyrus and Silas. I also love the meaning of this name: "throne."

Daxton: see above (This is close enough, I feel the same about it as Daxon.)

Harlan: This is adorable. but a little too close to Harlem for my taste.

Aedyn: I've always had a soft spot for this name even though I would never use it. I much prefer this spelling over Aidan.

Ruslan: This is like a combination of one of my favorite names - Russell - and the Narnia character Aslan! It's so sweet and handsome! Russ-lan or Ruz-lan?

Thayne/Thane: see above I prefer the Thane spelling.

Daxon: see above

Kashdon: I've never heard this name, but I'm falling in love with it! I may add it to my list... ;) Though I would probably spell it Cashden.

Kylo: see above

Chyler: see above

Grace: see above

Lucrezia: I do not at all mean to be rude or offensive, but all I can think of when I hear this name is "secretion" which makes me think "ooze," "slimy," "gross," etc. It's definitely not something I would want to be associated with my daughter. I'm sorry.

Clarklyn: see above

Zuleika: This is another name I wouldn't use, but it's still cute. The only nickname I can think of is "ZuZu" which sounds like a pet name to me. Again, I'm sorry.

WrenAs I told you above, this name has negative connotations for me because of a member of my family, but it's still cute as well as Wrenley. It's one of those "boy" names that I would prefer on a girl.

Ksenia: This is gorgeous! I love how it sounds and the way it looks!

Faeryn: see above

Zovieve: A little "V" heavy for my taste but definitely cute.

Jolexa: I don't know what it is, but this name just doesn't sound right. Again, I'm not trying to be rude; I'm sorry. When it comes to "Jo" names, I much prefer Jolie or Josephine.

Arlowe: I love this! A lot of people prefer it on a boy, but I love it for a girl! I love this spelling, too.

Ellatrix: This reminds me of Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter. I'm not a big fan of names that have "Trix" in them either...I'm really sorry. I am in no way trying to be rude.

Camreigh: see above

Westlyn: see above

Rheya: This is so beautiful! I love Greek Mythology names! The meaning is beautiful too: "flowing stream." A similar-sounding name that I love is Freya.

Irie: Eye-ree or Ee-ree? Nameberry says Eye-ree. This is cute! I never thought about Jamaican names! For middle names, I would stick to two or three-syllable names.

Evermay: This is so gorgeous! I love this! I may add this to my list... ;) It's similar to Ever and Everly, two names I love, but it has this unique sound that I love!

Luna: This is another Harry Potter name that I have a soft spot for, but I'm debating whether I'll actually use it. It's so cute! I also love Lena.

Avis: This is pretty, but it's not really my style. It reminds me of Mavis from a cartoon movie called Hotel Transylvania (Adam Sandler) and a gothic girl from Charmed named Aviva.

Aida: see above

Faun: see above

Taysa: see above

Evalee: see above

Arden: love, love, love this name! It's one of my absolute favorites! After doing some research, I discovered that it means "valley of the eagle." I love that! It is also the name of a magical forest in a Shakespearean work called As You Like It and was in the Top 1000 girls' names from 1929 to 1931. However, I do prefer the spelling Ardyn. A couple somewhat similar names I like for a girl are Auden and Anwen.

Clary: This is cute but reminds me of the character in the Shadowhunters series by Cassandra Clare, which I also love. However, I much prefer Claire.

Starla: This name is adorable but really isn't my style. I would stick to one to two-syllable middle names.

Wrenley: see above

Maudie: This is adorable as a name and also makes an adorable nickname. When choosing middle name, I would stay away from anything that starts with M or ends in the -ee sound.

Margaux: This name is pretty and vintage but not something I wold use. I love this spelling!

Oaklyn: This is so cute! I love it! It's one of those names that I have a soft spot for but am debating using.

Cate: This name is so cute! I would never use it as a middle name because it seems like a "filler" to me, but it's cute as a first name. I greatly prefer over Caitlin (any spelling) which is too popular for my taste.

Khione: see above

Elisse: see above

Kiyomi: see above

Inez: see above

Emmarae: This isn't my style, so I wouldn't use it, but it's adorable. As far as middle names go, I can't find much of anything that flows right...

Teylie: see above

Rexlyn: All I can think of when I see this is "T-Rex." Rex is a name in the Nameberry database listed as unisex. I picture it more as dog name (like Roscoe), but if it were a baby name, I would say boy. I'm sorry.

Zaidee: This is adorable! It's a small twist on Sadie which I adore. I love the sound of it and the way it looks!

Xiomara: This name is a little too unique for my taste, but the look of it is still pretty.

Taylinne: This isn't a name I would use as it closely resembles Tayla (neither of which are my style), but it is so cute.

Eliette: I've loved the name Elliot on a girl for the longest time but never liked the way the Elliot spelling looked...too masculine. I never thought to spell it this way, but I'm in love!

Xahria: I feel similarly about this name as I do Xiomara: too unique for my taste but still pretty.

Esmeray: see above

Kylette: see above

Whew! That took awhile. Thanks for your post! I hope you know that I never meant to be disrespectful, rude, or offensive in anything I said because, as I said at the top of the thread, I feel completely wrong downgrading a name that someone else loves. Please let me know what combos you like. I did a lot of research to make sure I found alternatives you might like. Have a great day!

Note: agallaher12 and Hannah - I'm working on it! I promise!

(The hard "C" and "L" sounds are too close together.) I do love Maud, though I perfer the Maude spelling.

Kylo is cute and reminds me of Kylo Ren from Star Wars: The Force Awakens which doesn't bother because I'm a huge nerd, but he is the villain. Instead, may I suggest Jameson Renzo? It is Italian and a diminutive of Lorenzo (like Enzo) and contains Enzo while breaking up the flow.

Daxon Roscoe  Duke: As I said above, Daxon is an adorable and handsome alternative to Jackson. However, both Roscoe and Duke remind me of a dog's name. I'm sorry; I really don't mean to be rude.

I promise!

Overall, this is a gorgeous name, though the flow may be a tad  off...maybe Marnie Isabeau Lynn? What do you think? That could work yes. Lynn is my mothers name so I wanted to include it if we are to have another.

Thank you. I was a little unsure of it at first but you have helped me see that I was right to keep it!)

Oh another lol i think this could be used as a middle too with a strong first name

I think Kiyomi would be find to use, but as far as middle names go, may I suggest:

or a name meaning pure...

Kiyomi Taryn - I do like this one.

The name as a whole is gorgeous and flows perfectly.  lol its catchy isn't it.. Also i seem to have forgotten on the original post to put that the name Aida [i heard it on a aurora teagarden mysteries on hallmark] Is actually pronounced I-ee-da. However Aida for ada would also be quite clever.

Surname would be Stevens.

Admittedly this is one of the gps i have.

Evalee number 1 with the 2 names put together.  I hope these make sense. Tasya: 1) Toz-ya 2) Taz-ya 3) Tase-ya (as in like a police officer's taser). Think of Fantasia or Anastasia. the ending of that is how i have been saying it.  Kylette: 1) Kye-let 2) Kuh-let 3) Kye-lit.number 1 i believe it to be.

The sound of the name is so beautiful! It just flows! I love it! Yes Fay-rin and Esmeray for me was just too nice of a name to veto.

Thank you!

It is tay-lo its acually the welsh form of taylor. which made me like it even more as im living in wales lol x

Oooh i do like the suggestion of the name Tate! Thank you!

Awesome thank you.

I like Kylen too was on a prev list :)

Jameson is a name i've always liked and Enzo well TVD.. is all i will say on the matter lol I clearly watch way too many american tv shows.

No that is fine i know lots of names these days are taken up by the animal variety. Daxon is my little way of being a supergirl geek.. As there is a character on the who is from a planet near krypton called Daxom. :/ sad i know.. similar i guess to Daxton in a way inner geek shining on through! :D

Singles

Cyrus: This is so cute! It's one of my favorite names! As I said, I'm a nerd, and I love Harry Potter. One of my favorite characters is Sirius Black, but Sirius was never my style for a baby name. In short, I wanted to find something similar, and I came across Cyrus and Silas. I also love the meaning of this name: "throne."

Daxton: see above (This is close enough, I feel the same about it as Daxon.)

Harlan: This is adorable. but a little too close to Harlem for my taste.

Phoenix: see above

Jameson: see above

Kyhber: This is so handsome! I love it! When choosing middle names, I would stick with two and three-syllable names.

Enzo: see above

Tierney: see above

Fable: This is one of my favorite names, but I prefer it on a girl. Some similar names I like are Story, Sonnet, and Poet.

Ford: see above

Hawke: I love this! It's one of those nature names that is growing on me. It's so cute and handsome!

Roscoe: see above

Davin: Dave-in or Dav-in? This is so handsome! It's a great alternative to Devin/Devon (Which I like better on a girl, even though some people don't like boy's names on girls.) Again another tv show its Dav-In, and yes Similar to the name Devon but the tv show wanted to give a little spacey kind of name

Duke: see above

Kaige: I love this! It's so cute, but I never thought to spell it this way. I may add it to my list... Im a little strange i guess i liek to play with names I have a reli who is called Kaine and i just thought Hmm why not add an i in there and see and it looks not too shabby,..

Atlas: This name is so strong and handsome! I've seen one other time on here but never really thought about using it. It has a sort of "adventure" vibe to it...

Aedyn: I've always had a soft spot for this name even though I would never use it. I much prefer this spelling over Aidan. aww thank you! This was anothe name i played round with lol I feel a name nerd friendship coming along here :D

Ruslan: This is like a combination of one of my favorite names - Russell - and the Narnia character Aslan! It's so sweet and handsome! Russ-lan or Ruz-lan? I think either of the pn's would apply o this name i mysef say Russ-lan but Ruz-lan could also work.

Thayne/Thane: see above I prefer the Thane spelling. Yes i think i do too tbh, :D

Daxon: see above

Kashdon: I've never heard this name, but I'm falling in love with it! I may add it to my list...  Though I would probably spell it Cashden. Yes that way is awesome too i also saw it A bit like ashton Kashton would work Cashten or Cashden too:D

I'm sorry. Its a name my fella likes, final fantasy

This is the real life name of the actress who plays kenzi in lost girl! :P

I am in no way trying to be rude. not  a problem i thought more a character story person name.

For middle names, I would stick to two or three-syllable names. eye-ree from what i researched

Evermay: This is so gorgeous! I love this! I may add this to my list...  It's similar to Ever and Everly, two names I love, but it has this unique sound that I love! <3 awesome x

Overall, this is a gorgeous name, though the flow may be a tad  off...maybe Marnie Isabeau Lynn? What do you think? That could work yes. Lynn is my mothers name so I wanted to include it if we are to have another.

Thank you. I was a little unsure of it at first but you have helped me see that I was right to keep it!)

Oh another lol i think this could be used as a middle too with a strong first name

I think Kiyomi would be find to use, but as far as middle names go, may I suggest:

or a name meaning pure...

Kiyomi Taryn - I do like this one.

The name as a whole is gorgeous and flows perfectly.  lol its catchy isn't it.. Also i seem to have forgotten on the original post to put that the name Aida [i heard it on a aurora teagarden mysteries on hallmark] Is actually pronounced I-ee-da. However Aida for ada would also be quite clever.

Surname would be Stevens.

Admittedly this is one of the gps i have.

The sound of the name is so beautiful! It just flows! I love it! Yes Fay-rin and Esmeray for me was just too nice of a name to veto.

Thank you!

It is tay-lo its acually the welsh form of taylor. which made me like it even more as im living in wales lol x

Oooh i do like the suggestion of the name Tate! Thank you!

Awesome thank you.

I like Kylen too was on a prev list :)

Jameson is a name i've always liked and Enzo well TVD.. is all i will say on the matter lol I clearly watch way too many american tv shows.

I'm sorry. Its a name my fella likes, final fantasy

This is the real life name of the actress who plays kenzi in lost girl! :P

1. Definitely a friendship!  :D

2. I live in Alabama in the US, and I watch a lot of British TV shows...or BBC or whatever its called (thanks to Netflix), so it's not weird. ;)

3. I've never been good at playing with names...not creative enough, but I love yours!

4. I never knew her name was Ksenia! It's so pretty!

Brynn Ashley
Kalani Brooke
Davina Claire
Chloe Sage
Chloe Sutton
Melody Aspen
Gemma Claire
Nova Saige
Veyda Brynn
Norah Brooke
Ensley Rose
Adalyn Claire
Suggestions for a middle name for Veronica

Ezra James
Elijah Brooks
Jackson Oliver
Finn Wilder
Silas James
Lincoln Asher
Hayden Tyler
Lincoln Scott

Brynn Ashley: The name Brynn is so cute, but I prefer Brenna. As far as Ashley, it's pretty, but I don't think I would ever use it because of popularity. Overall, the name is pretty, but the flow is a smidge off. I can't exactly put my finger on what it is...

Kalani Brooke: Kalani is gorgeous! I love certain Hawaiian names, and I love the way it flows with Brooke, but Brooke is one of those names that is too popular for me. Overall, the name is gorgeous and flows beautifully.

Davina Claire: Davina isn't name I would personally use, but the meaning is so adorable: "little deer." I love the name Claire as a middle name. I think it's so pretty! Overall the name is beautiful and flows very well. I can see it growing well with a daughter.

Chloe Sage: Chloe is another one of those names that's too popular for me to use...it's just not my style. They're still pretty names, though. Secondly, Chloe has negative connotations for me because of someone I used to know. I'm not a big fan of "herb" or "spice" names, but I've always had a soft spot for Sage. It's so pretty. I love the way this name flows.

Chloe Sutton: Sutton is so gorgeous! I've heard a couple of times, but I've never known someone with the name, and I love it. I think this combo looks and sounds a tad better than Chloe Sage.

Melody Aspen: I love the name Melody...the meaning behind it, the sound of it...it's so pretty. I prefer much more than Melanie. I would never use the name Aspen because it's another name that has negative connotations for me, but I love nature names! Overall, this a beautiful name with a beautiful flow!

Gemma Claire: The name Gemma is so pretty! It sounds so much nicer than the similar Jewel. It's also a nice spin on Emma or Emily, both of which I love but would never use. (I personally know three Emma's and two Emily's.) This flows nicely with Claire and is so beautiful and feminine!

Nova Saige: The name Nova is so pretty! I love certain "space" names. I also love Novalie. (I played around with Nova and Rosalie, but I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with it.) The name is adorable, but the flow seems a little off...I think you need another syllable somewhere.

Veyda Brynn: Veyda is a bit outdated for my taste, but spelling it this way gives it a new look. It's pretty! I think it could work. I absolutely adore the way it flows with Brynn!

Norah Brooke: I love the name Norah! It's one of my favorites! I prefer the spelling Nora, but I think Norah works for this combination. It flows beautifully with Brooke.

Ensley Rose: I've never heard the name Ensley, but it's so cute! I may add it to my list... ;)love, love, love Rose! It's one of my favorite middle names! Overall, this name is gorgeous and flows very smoothly.

Adalyn Claire: Aid-uh-lyn or Add-uh-lyn? Just making sure, but Aid-uh-lyn is what came naturally to me. Either way it's beautiful and flows perfectly with Claire.

Middle names for Veronica:

From your list...

Veronica Ashley (I normally don't go for the same sounds back-to-back (Veronica Ashley), but this kind of works. My guess is because one is "uh" and the other is long A (as in apple).)

Veronica Aspen (same thing with the sounds)

Other "popular" names...

Veronica Charlotte (#7 and one of my favorite names)

Veronica Madison (#15)

Veronica Scarlett (#18 and a cute alternative to Charlotte)

Veronica Brooklyn (#34; I feel the name would be missing something if it were just Brooke.)

*I stopped after Top 50,*

If you're looking for something "classic"...

Veronica Edith

Veronica Faith

Veronica Hope

Veronica Jane

Veronica Joy

Veronica June

Veronica Paige

Veronica Mae/Maeve

Or something "nature-inspired"...

Veronica Meadow

Veronica Willow

Veronica Autunn

Veronica Summer

Veronica Hazel

Veronica Ivy

Let me know what you like.  :)

Ezra James: I love Ezra! I feel in love with it ever since I watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. (Ezra Miller played Credence Barebone.) Oddly enough, Ezra James is on my list! I have a slightly different taste in boys' names; I love classic names, even if they're popular. This name is so handsome, and I love the flow.

Elijah Brooks: Elijah is another one of those "classic" names that I love! I didn't care for Brooks in the past, but now that I know two, it's kind of growing on me. It's so handsome and sophisticated! I love the way it sounds with Elijah!

Jackson Oliver: Jackson isn't really my style, but I kind of have a soft spot for it. It's so cute and handsome! Oliver is one of my favorite names, and I love the way it flows with Jackson!

Finn Wilder: I don't much go for "nickname names," but they're starting to grow on me. Finn is so cute! Nature names are another thing starting to grow on me. This is one of my new favorites for boys. I love the way the name as a whole looks and sounds.

Silas James: Silas is another one of my favorite names! It's cute and handsome at the same time! I love the way it sounds with James, which is actually on my list. Another one of my favorite combos is Silas Jude.

Lincoln Asher: Lincoln is another one of my "soft spot" names; I wouldn't use it, but I love it. Asher is another name that I haven't liked in the past, but I'm beginning to play around with it, pairing it with other names, I love the way this name looks and sounds! It has a great flow, and looks so handsome! I can picture it growing well on a son,

Hayden Tyler: Hayden is again a little popular for my taste...on boys anyways. I much prefer it on girls, same as Dylan, Micah, and Devon. I also love the name Noah on girls, but I could use it on either gender. I know some people hate that trend, though. Anyway...back on topic. Hayden is still a nice name, soft and somewhat sensitive, which I find to be a good thing. It flows well with Tyler, another sweet name.

Lincoln Scott: The name Scott is okay, but I wouldn't use it because I have three in my family already. It flows nicely with Lincoln, but I much prefer Lincoln Asher.

I'm working on your second post, Hannah. Everybody else, keep them coming! This is fun! :)

Here are some more combos:

Annabel Joy

Ava Clarity

Cassandra Pearl

Cordelia Faye

Estelle Georgiana

Tessa Primrose

Abraham Dax

Asa Wolfgang

Frederick Basil

Leo Wilfred

Otto Bellamy

Rufus Mordecai

Annabel Joy: Annabel is one of my soft spot names. I think it's so pretty! It has the southern belle yet modern and sophisticated feel. In the past, I have preferred the Annabelle spelling, but seeing it this way, I think I've changed my mind. This just looks so simple and sweet! As for Joy, I don't normally go for the shorter, "filler" middle names, but I love the way it looks and sounds in this combo! Overall, it's simple and sweet and so beautiful! I love the flow, too.

Ava Clarity: I don't think I would ever use the name Ava, but it's still pretty! When it comes to girl's names, I don't go toward the too popular names. Plus, my best friend's mom's name is Ava, and her sister's middle name is Ava. I'm so close to her family, it could get confusing. But I love, love, love the way it flows with Clarity! It's so beautiful! I've been playing around with word names lately. Some of my favorites right now are Story and Journey, but mostly Journey. (My mom almost had a third baby, and was going to use Journey as her middle name because she miscarried 4 times before that but ended up miscarrying that baby, too and twice after that.) Anyway...I'd rather not...um...back on topic. This name is absolutely gorgeous and flows beautifully!

Cassandra Pearl: Cassandra isn't something I would use personally, but I still think it's pretty. It brings to mind the seer Cassandra. If you've ever watched or read Harry Potter, everyone thought the Divination professor, Sybill Trelawney. was crazy. (She was very...eccentric.) Anyway, J.K. Rowling once revealed that she is a descendant of the seer Cassandra. According to Greek mythology, Cassandra was the daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. She was said to be the prettiest of his daughters and was sought after by the god Apollo. Apollo promised her the power of prophecy if she promised to love him and fulfill his...desires. She accepted, but once he gave her the power, she left him. Instead of taking away her power, he cursed her so no one would believe her prophecies. (source) (Sorry...I'm a nerd. ;) ) I honestly don't find it to be a negative association. I love Greek Mythology names, and this name is so pretty. Pearl is a guilty pleasure of mine. Like I said, I don't go for "fillers," but I love this one! It's just about everywhere on my list! It fits perfectly with Cassandra and gives the name a great flow.

Cordelia Faye: Cordelia is one of my favorite names! A lot of people I've met think it's too old, but I just love the way it looks and sounds! I love the way it flows with Faye! I actually played around with Faye for awhile, but I met someone that gave it a negative connotation for me personally. Overall, the name is gorgeous and has a beautiful flow.

Estelle Georgiana: I'm not the biggest fan of Estelle, but I like the way it sounds. It flows very well with Georgiana! I wouldn't personally use it...as of right now...but I've been seeing it in the forums a lot, and it might be growing on me. ;)  This name looks and sounds beautiful and has a great flow!

Tessa Primrose: Tessa is so sweet and cute! It pairs well with Primrose, which just adds to it's sweetness. Both are names that I wouldn't personally wouldn't use, but they're both cute and sound so sweet together! Overall, this sweet gorgeous name with a beautiful flow!

Abraham Dax: love classic, biblical names, especially from boys! I love the look and sound of Abraham, as well as the alternative Abram, I don't think I could choose a favorite of the two, though. Because of the length of Abraham, I think a one-syllable middle name is perfect. I love the sound of Dax. It has the "contrasting balance" to Abraham, in style and length, that fits them perfectly together with a great flow.

Asa Wolfgang: Asa is so cute and handsome! It reminds me of the actor Asa Butterfield (Boy in the Striped Pajamas; Hugo). Those are coincidentally two of my favorite movies, so I love the connotation! Wolfgang makes me think of Mozart...the connotation is fine in my opinion, but I don't think I would use it as a name. I would suggest Asa Wolf, but I don't know if that sounds right either. Anyway, the flow is good, the name just isn't my style. I still love Asa, though!

Frederick Basil: Frederick is handsome! I like classic boys' names but not too vintage, so it isn't my style. I think it would grow well, but a little boy may need a nickname. As far as Basil...that's something I definitely can't see as a name. I'm sorry! When it comes to herbs, I think Sage, Rosemary, Lavender, and Bay are usable as names. Nameberry lists both Sage and Bay as unisex. I think Frederick Bay works.

Leo Wilfred: Leo is one of my favorite names! It's so cute, yet strong and handsome! (My zodiac is also Leo. :) ) Wilfred, however, is too vintage for my taste, but the two sound good together, and the flow is good.

Otto Bellamy: Otto is, again, a little too vintage for me. It reminds me of two things: Anne Frank's father, which is an amazing association in my opinion, and Mother Gothel's pet ferret from the Barbie version of Rapunzel, a less amazing association, but I don't think many people will remember the latter. Bellamy is a name a picture more on a girl, but the two kind of fit together. The flow is a smidge off, but I can't exactly tell where.

Rufus Mordecai: Rufus seems like a dog's name to me...I'm sorry. As for Mordecai, it reminds me of the Johnny Depp movie, which was actually pretty funny. The flow is also a little off. I'm sorry!

Thanks for your post! I hope you know that I never meant to be disrespectful, rude, or offensive in anything I said because, as I said at the top of the thread, I feel completely wrong downgrading a name that someone else loves. Have a great day!

Thanks so much! I'm going to have a hard time picking a middle for Veronica. Super cute choices! I love Brooklyn, Ivy, and Paige. I also adore Lincoln Asher! I may switch that one up on my list!
