Tilda Anderson and Ash Orwell were childhood friends since they met in primary school when Tilda forgot her lunch and Ash, a kind little boy, offered to share his with her. They were best friends ever since and that relationship deepened to love in their high school years. They now live in Perth, Australia after Ash proposed to Tilda on her 23rd birthday. At their wedding on the beach, Tilda wore a pretty mermaid dress whilst Ash looked dapper in a blue suit. They were accompanied by Tilda's maid of honour Elle Margaret Tiernan and Ash's best man Levi Knox Edison. After their wedding, they went on a honeymoon to Venice which was absolutely stunning and decided to adopt a puppy who they named Lola.

 

A year after Tilda and Ash get married they find out that they are expecting a beautiful baby girl! They decide to name her Julia Margaret, with her middle name honouring her mother's maid of honour and her godmother Elle, who they nickname Lia. Two years later, Tilda and Ash find themselves expecting a handsome baby boy to join big sister Lia. They decide to name him Finn Lennox after Ash's grandmother whose maiden name was Lennox. Another two years later, Tilda and Ash find themselves expecting another beautiful baby girl to join siblings Lia and Finn. This time they choose the name Cleo because they love the connection with Greek mythology, a subject that both Tilda and Ash loved at school. 

 

When Ash and Tilda's children are 7, 5, and 3, Tilda is diagnosed with terminal cancer.  It's a rough year and a half for the family as Ash brings the kids to visit their mom in the hospital and tries to explain why she can't live at home with them.  After fighting for almost two years, Tilda passed away to the immense sadness of Ash, Lia, Finn and Cleo. Though grief-stricken, the family tries to continue on with their normal life.  

 

About a year after Tilda's death, Ash meets another single parent, Tamsin Victoria Barnes, when dropping off the kids at school. DH asks Tammy out, and she says yes.  They hire babysitters on the weekends to watch the kids and plan playdates so the kids can get to know each other too.  Tammy has two kids: a 9 year old girl named Diana 'Di' Rosamund and a 3 year old boy named James 'Jem' Leopold who she absolutely adores.

 

After two years, Ash proposes to Tammy!  He got permission from all of his and her kids first, and they all surprised her by organising a family picnic on Mother’s Day, where Ash popped the question. Ash and Tammy want their kids to be integral parts of the wedding, so once the wedding colour scheme has been chosen, Tammy takes the kids shopping for wedding outfits. The boys wear super cute tuxedoes in which they look really smart and handsome whilst the girls wear adorable lacy white dresses with flower crowns. Ash and Tammy decide to take the kids on a family honeymoon to Hawaii where the whole family has a lot of fun exploring the different islands. When the family returns home, they move into a larger house to accommodate their big family! They move into a stunning Craftsmen house that has a room for everyone.

 

When Ash’s kids are 13, 11, and 9, and Tammy’s kids are 13 and 7, Tammy finds out she is pregnant!  Ash and Tammy are surprised; they had not planned on having kids together, but they are nevertheless excited. It was the best surprise they could have! They told their kids who, to their surprise, were all ecstatic to have a new sibling! 

 

At her first ultrasound, however, the doctor reveals that Tammy is having B/B twins! They decide to name twin one William Ross after Tammy's favourite character in 'The Infernal Devices' and twin two Edmund Blake after Ash's all time favourite character in 'The Chronicles of Narnia'. The boys are nicknamed Will and Ed by their older siblings. They complete the family for Ash and Tammy who live together happily for the rest of their lives.
