I'm putting together a completely different list (don't worry, a lot of my classics will be there!). I've always loved the name Tobias (nickname Toby) on a boy since I read Animorphs. I'd love some feedback on this name. The combo I like right now is Tobias Ray.

Ohhh man, I LOVED the animorphs series, I wish the show had carried on as well, it was such a unique idea at that time for a children/teens show and like you I walked away from the series with a firm love of the name Tobias! He was seriously my favorite character XD oh man I feel like such a nerd right now thinking of animorphs! Hahaha XD

It was a wonderful series. I HATED the ending though.
That's actually what started me writing...I wanted to re-write the ending! x]

I read most of the series. I like Tobias, especially at that time. But when my cousin named his son that there were lots of "You named him that?" Even though he goes by Toby. So I've put it strictly out of use.
Your family may not react the same or that may not bother you. Overall it's a great name. Especially the nn Toby.

Sorry to be a downer, but I don't like Tobias. I can't explain why, it's just never appealed to be. The nickname Toby is okay though.

I really love the flow/rhythm of the name Tobias. However, I've never been a fan of the nickname Toby. So, for me, Tobias is strictly middle name material.

I can just hear it now..."Toby, or not Toby!"

I absolutly love Tobias!! and the forms Tobiah and Tobin with the nn Toby, Jeff and I love the name so much that we wanted to use it for our first child if it was a boy but because of his las name starting with B and ending with S Tobias just doesnt work sadly

I have bad associations with the name Tobias. I think of Tobias from Arrested Development (and if you're seen that show you'll know why it's not necessarily a great connection lol) and there's a very weird boy I know with the last name Tobias, so i just think I got rubbed the wrong way with that name from the start. Sorry to be a downer, but I don't like it much at all
