I've really been liking the name Sydney on a girl lately, it grows on me every time I hear it. And I think the nick name Syd would be really cute.

So what do you think of it?

And which spelling you would use?

And do you know any middle names to go with it?

i like sydney but honestly i think i wouldn't use it soorrys but otherwise it is such a cute name no doubt

I love the name Sydney. I think it's adorable on a little girl, but it ages well at the same time. It's not terribly common but isn't obscure, which is always a nice balance.
I definitely wouldn't spell it any other way, or else it might become too tryndee for my liking...Sydney is a place name, plain and simple.

Australia's one of my favorite places in the world (I've got a lot of family there and have been there a handful of times) and I always thought it might be neat to use an Australian place-name. Some of these aren't the prettiest or one I'd necessarily give to a kid, but they're fun anyways.
