My Grandmother passed away on Saturday morning and her middle name was Arlene. I never thought I'd name my baby after anybody, but her dying while I was pregnant seemed fitting. So I decided that my baby, if a girl, will have her middle name the same as my Grandma. I have had SUCH a hard time thinking of first names to go with Arlene, and an even harder time finding one my husband and I will both agree on. Please, if you have any ideas of names that will sound fitting with Arlene, let me know and please give me the meaning. I am more prone to liking names that are NOT popular and are unique, but not TOO unique.

Thanks for your reply! I love the name Jocelyn, however, my husband shot it down. I think he doesn't like how the beginning sounds a little like Josh, his name. I don't know. The other ones are nice as well, but a couple of them are already family members names. Naming baby is harder than I thought.

^ What about Jessalyn instead. It kind of sounds the same, but doesn't really have the "Josh" feel to it.
