Busy Phillips and husband, Marc Silverstein, has welcome their second child- a girl! The baby girl was born on July 3. The couple have a daughter, Birdie Leigh. While the pair chose animal themes for both their girls doesn't surprise me, but the name they chose is a nickname that some people might use in a sentimental sense So what did they name her?

Cricket Pearl

I know, I know. You're having to look twice to see if you read it right! :P

What do you think?

I think Birdie & Cricket are adorable names for little girls...just not sure how they would work on an adult. :\

Birdie is cute, but I can't see Cricket aging very well :(

They're definitely more pet names IMO rather than "legitimate" first names. Just like her own name (Her legal first name is Elizabeth right? If I remember correctly, Busy is a derivative..)

I think she could have used more.. traditional first names and used the above as nicknames.

But to each their own. :)

I can see those names on little children and maybe women above 60.

But not really on a teenager or middle aged woman.

Cricket reminds me of "Cricket Caruth-Riley" from GCB. (If you don't know it, it's a TV show based in Dallas)

I'm a fan of Busy Philipps.. but not SO much her naming style.

I love Pearl though!

Better than North IMO. I can see Cricket as a name only because of the Starter Wife. One of the girls was named Cricket.
