So I just met a little Kaden and he went by Denny. I don't know why but I think it's the cutest thing!!

I also met a little five year old boy today named John-Patrick. Not a combo I'd of thought of or would use, but it was cute on him! His baby sister was Emmie-Ann, which I didn't really like.

I've been a little nickname obsessed lately. Here's my name list (long version) with their "around-the-house" nicknames: {in italics are names I'm unsure of, & in bold is what they will go by all of/most of the time}

Silas Archer Graham "Ace" or "Silo"

Ezra Nicholas Wade "Ezzy"

Asa Benjamin Patrick "Ace"

Nehemiah Rory Daniel "Nemo"

Josiah Nathaniel Grant "Joey"

Oliver Kenneth Lyle "O"

Charlie Brennan Jack "Chip"

Cohen Zachariah Peter "Coe"

Franklin Carter Hudson "Frank"

Thomas Etienne Jude "Massy"

Andrew Ashton/Aston Reid "Rew"

Samuel Zion Gray "Welly" (all the time "Sam")

Eaden Alistair Gage "Denny" / or maybe Madden Alistair Gage?

Evangeline Sophia Ruth "Evie-Rue"

Eden Miriam Flora "Edie" (pron. E.D., I'm still unsure on spelling for the nn)

Holland Anna Caroline "Hollie"

Juliet Mary Clementine "Jules"

Elodie Nora Jocelyn "Lo"

Liliana Evelyn Carys "Lila"

Galilee Jane Amelia "Lily"

Assuming I won't have this many kids, some names and/or nicknames are very similar too eachother but wouldn't be used in a sibset.

So, some questions: (answer as many or as little as you would like! Any help is appreciated :) )

1. What are your opinions on the names and combos on my list?

2. What are your opinions on the "around the house" nicknames?

3. What would be your favorite boy/girl sibset?

4. Favorite girl/girl sibset?

5. Favorite boy/boy sibset

6. Any other suggestions, comments, questions? :D

Thank you to all of you!! :)

I don't like Clementine, sorry! It's just nms
I love Evelyn it has lots of potential for nicknames too!
Carys has a pretty flow but isn't my style either :(
Jane is lovely on anyone old or young :)
Amelia is so pretty!

2. Nicknames I like: Ace, Silo, Ezzy, Nemo, Joey, Coe, Frank, Sam, Denny <3, Evie-Rue, Hollie, Jules, Lo, Lila, Lily
Nicknames I'm not a fan of :(: O, Chars, Massy, Rew, ED (looks like Ed but Edie would be cute!)

3. Charlie Brennan Jack & Holland Anna Caroline (Charlie and Hollie is soooo cute! <3)

4. Holland Anna Caroline & Liliana Evelyn Carys

5. Charlie Brennan Jack & Silas Archer Graham

Thank you for your reply!

To answer your question, Eaden is pronounced just like Eden. I prefer this spelling (and it is a legitimate one) because Eden is very feminine looking these days, but I still love it for boys. :)
Oh, & Zion is pron. Zye-on. It's a Biblical place name

1. What are your opinions on the names and combos on my list?
I like a lot of them, my favourites would be Silas, Asa, Cohen, Jude, Caroline, Juliet, and Clementine. My least favourites are Grant, Peter, Gage, Holland, Galilee, and Flora.

2. What are your opinions on the "around the house" nicknames?
They're cute. Some of them aren't what I would choose, but as long as you like them, then that's all that matters.

3. What would be your favorite boy/girl sibset?
Thomas Etienne Jude and Evangeline Sophia Ruth

4. Favorite girl/girl sibset?
Eden Miriam Flora and Juliet Mary Clementine

5. Favorite boy/boy sibset
Silas Archer Graham and Asa Benjamin Patrick

6. Any other suggestions, comments, questions?
One thing; I would automatically pronounce Eaden like Aiden, to me that's just the sound that the ea combination makes. For me it fits with the names like Eamon (AY-mon) and Eames (AY-mes), and if you hadn't clarified I wouldn't have known. Eden for a male is a little too feminine for me, but I get the appeal of it.

Thank you!! :)

As for #6, I can see how you pronounced it that way. For me, I read the "ea" like "eee" in most cases because of words like east & eagle, and names like Eadie, Eagan, and Easton. But he'd probably be Denny most of the time, though, so it's not a huge deal :) It's a legitimate spelling of Eden, though, which is nice without being overly feminine

1. What are your opinions on the names and combos on my list?
I think you have very solid list even though they are not all my style. I also LOVE how you incorporated all of those biblical names!

2. What are your opinions on the "around the house" nicknames?
I always love a good nn, and many of yours are super cute! My fave is Silas nn Ace. (can I barrow that one, please? :) )

3. What would be your favorite boy/girl sibset?
Silas Archer Graham (almost tied with Asa Benjamin Patrick) and Evangeline Sophia Ruth <3

4. Favorite girl/girl sibset?
Evangeline Sophia Ruth and Holland Anna Caroline (close to Galilee Jane Emilia)

5. Favorite boy/boy sibset
Silas Archer Graham and Asa Benjamin Patrick

6. Any other suggestions, comments, questions?
Very stunning list, can I say again? I LOVE love your Evangeline combo(!!!) and my only "problem" with Silas Archer is not being a fan of Graham. But it still is an extremely handsome combo. :) I didn't mention anything about Ezra, but that is also quite handsome!

Good luck w/ your list! :)
