Hi there, new to this forum!

I am Rachel, 27 years old and happily married to my husband Charlie. We have a 2 year old daughter called Theodora-Drew Blakesley Wright - a long name, I know but we regularly shorten it to Teddy. We are expecting twin girls in January and again would like a double-barrelled first name for each of them. We really like Amalia-Jade Madison Wright (shortened to AJ) but we can not agree/find another name that we like! We do however understand that double-barrell names are often shortened but would still like double-barrell suggestions. Clearly nothing is set in stone and we will name our children on what they suit. Many Thanks, Rachel xxx

I love your daughters name by the way. Amalia-Jade Madison Wright (shortened to AJ) is so cute! I especially love the nick name idea of AJ. Here's some ideas for another double first name.
Mary-Louise (love this! Doesn't really fit with your names though)
Ellie-May
Jamie-Lynn
Emma-Louise
Gemma-Louise
Sarah -Louise
Sarah-Kate
Clara-June
Sophie-Ann
Sophie-May
Matilda-Kate

I think you should just pick one name that you really love and pair it with something short like Louise, Kate, Jane....

Amalia-Jade is interesting. I would probably prefer Amelia-Jane, but it flows well.

Theodora is a rather old-fashioned name... as is Blakesley. You seem to also like names that are slightly more on the 'tom-boyish' side with nicknames.

I think these might fit with Theodora:

I love you daughter's name!
I also really like Amalia-Jade with the nickname AJ! Lately I've really started to like inital nicknames on girls.
Anyway, here are my suggestions:
Josephine-Cate (Could be shortened to Josie, Joey or J.C)
Kathryn-Claire (Kate or K.C)
Margaret-Eliza (Maggie)
Florence-Adela (Flora)
Rosamund-Jessa (Ros, R.J)
Anastasia-Lillian (Annie)

Hope you like some of these!
Tori
