My husband and I are expecting our second child. We have a boy name already lined out but having difficulty with a girl name. We each have one aunt that has always been extremely important to us and each are dying from very different types of illnesses. We don't know how much longer they have :-(. I would really love to find a way that we can somehow use their names but I don't like either by themselves or together. Can anyone help me to either combine the names or get a pretty name from Donna and Sherry? It can be a middle name or a first name or a first and middle. I just want to honor 2 important women in our lives.

Donna and Sherry

Dorry/Dory
Shanna/Shonna
Donery (might be too weird?)

Maybe you could give her two middle names, each honoring one aunt, maybe using name variants or something close to the name?

Variants of Donna:
Dawn/Don
Danna
Donelle
Donalie
Dionne
Deona
Domina
Lady (Donna means lady)
Freya (same meaning as Donna)
Freida (same meaning as Donna)

Variants of Sherry:
Cherie
Charlotte
Sharon
Shirley
Shireen
Cheray
Sherina
Cherise
Carrie
Sarah (bit of a stretch?)

Like any? Hope this helped!
