Emmaline "Emme" Rose Rafferty [5] is the daughter of Joliet, cousin with Nia, and niece of Regina, and Lissy. Emme is very supportive of her mom and has picked up her own interest in the kitchen. she loves baking and helping her mom prepare food, but is startinig to get worried now that her mother's hands have started to tremble and she has cut herself more often. Emme loves her father as well but does not see him as much.

Foley Preston Mailer {5} is Emme's best friend. He's very quiet and serious, especially for a child his age. He's a great listener and he enjoys the company of adults often over other kids his own age. He likes to run around, though, and he would explore anything if you let him. His only two siblings are younger than he, a two year old sister and a newborn baby brother. He's very protective of them, and he's a big helper to his mom and dad.

Suzanne Evelyn Mailer (nee Foley) (38) is Foley's mother. Suzanne is married to a wealthy businessman, but they met in college before he was a millionaire entrepreneur. They built a company on his genius marketing tactics and it has supported their family as well as several charities. Suzanne was born into a hippie cult of sorts. Her parents had originally named her Poppy Blossom Foley and raised her in a closed-off, self-sufficient hippie community. Suzanne couldn't take the constant positivity and strange views of the world any longer. She was an impatient and stubborn teenager, so when she was sixteen, she and her brother ran away from the compound. They later found out that they had been growing marijuana and helped the federal government out the farm in exchange for new identities. Suzanne and her brother then both attended high school, Suzanne as a sophomore, her brother as a senior. They still talk a lot and he is very involved in her children's lives as she is in his. Suzanne and her husband provided him with financial support recently, and Suzanne is afraid that he has gotten himself into something dirty.

Sutton Kennedy Mailer {nb} is Suzanne's youngest child, he's the brother to Foley and one two year old sister. He keeps his parents up all night with his crying from down the hall. He's pretty small, but he sure eats a lot, more than either of his other siblings did as infants. He's a daddy's boy, he calms down as soon as his dad picks him up.

Monroe Kelly Mailer [2] is the younger sister of Foley and older sister of Sutton. She is a cutie and always searching for attention. she gets a bit jealous when her father carries her brothers and not her and will whine a little bit. She is a bit too spoiled especially since she is the only girl. She goes to a local preschool and is not very good at sharing. She is a very healthy eater and surprisingly enough hates sweets but loves pickles.

Noel Joshua Harten {2} goes to "school" with Monroe Mailer. As a quiet, sweet, submissive personality, he can get trampled over by Monroe and the other students. She's much more outgoing and rambunctious than he.

Lily Jasmine Harten [5 mos] is the little girl in the picture with her daddy. She is the younger sister of Noel. She is lively and spontaneous. She talks a lot of jibberish and is never seen without a smile painted across her face. 

 

Joshua Ian Harten [28] is the father of Noel and Lily. He works as a tattoo artist and is known around town for his great works with the ink. He makes big bucks, and owns the tattoo shop. He met his wife when she came in to get her first tattoo. They were best of friends first and recently married two years ago. He loves his children more than anything in the world, and always goes to pick up Noel from school.

Adeline Shay Rose [Courtney] Harten {28} is the wife of Joshua Harten. She has three kids; Noel, Lily, and one 8 year old child from a previous relationship. She loves her family, and she works from home to get to spend more time with them. Her 8 year old lives with her most of the time, they are only with their dad on every other weekend. Adeline would like three or four more kids, but Joshua isn't so sure he wants that many.

Tyler Keegan Ross [8] is the son of Adeline from a previous relationship, half brother to Noel and Lily. He loves his family but sometimes acts up due to the weekends he sometimes spends with his father which has led him with a bad influence. He has two older siblings from his dad's side, and sometimes Tyler gets confused as to who to call dad. He enjoys being around Joshua but has mixed feelings. Sometimes he loves Joshua and sometimes he gets real bratty with Josh.

Paige Amber Ross (11) is Tyler's older sister from his dad's side. She lives with her dad, along with one older sibling. One of Paige's favorite pastimes is to write poems about everything she can, from her two siblings to the flowers in her garden. She once won a contest at her school for a poem about the possibility of world peace. Her dad and her don't get along very well, and sometimes she thinks that he purposely ignores her.

Haydin Kate Ross {16} is the sister of Paige, half sister of Tyler. She's defiant, she doesn't listen to anything her dad says, but it's not like he cares anyways. She doesn't have a boyfriend, but she's always going to the beach to meet guys, and then going home with them. She'll stay at their house for a night or two, and then she goes home like nothing ever happened, most of the time never talking to the guy again.

Sloane Morgan Olsen [18] is the best friend of Haydin. They met at the beach, where Sloane works giving Henna designs. Contrary to what most had previously believed, she graduated at the top of her class and has maintained all of the expectations set upon her by her parents, whom are very demanding. They were quite unhappy when she chose the alternative lifestyle of living modified, they especially dislike her dreadlocked hair and the many piercings she's accumulated over the years. She and her girlfriend are approaching their 3 year anniversary.

Sage Hallie Olsen (18) is Sloane's twin sister. Sage was always the popular one, the pretty one, too. She's just as bright, but she doesn't like to let people know that. She values her social status above most other things in the world. But after graduating high school, Sage decided she was fed up with pretending not to be smart, because, truthfully, being smart was sometimes the only thing she had going for her in the future. Sage and Sloane are the only Olsen kids, but Sage's best friend might as well be her sister. Sage is at Harvard currently. She's studying political science. She's noticed guys eyeing her, and she's used to it, but she's making a real effort to lose her high school "slut" label. She thinks she's finally found a guy worth chasing, but he's playing hard-to-get, which annoys Sage. Sage acts like she thinks her sister is crazy, but in reality, she's jealous of how open Sloane is about everything. Sage knows she's straight, but in the last few weeks of high school, she played with her sexuality and her parents found out. Sage was never close with them and hasn't talked to them much since.

Rochelle "Rocky" Bria Castille [18] is the best friend of Sage. T=Sage and Rocky are practically sisters and have often been confused as sisters since they look so much alike and are always hanging out with each other. They met in the fourth grade and have been inseparable ever since. Rocky comes from a very athletic family. She does tennis, track, and softball. But softball is her main sport and passion. She got a full ride scholarship at Harvard to play on the softball team. She is the middle child.

Stephanie "Steph" Ava Castille (15) is Rocky's younger sister. Steph is an aspiring softball star, too, but she feels she'll never be as good as her sister. Her coach thinks so, too. He's always comparing her to Rocky and their older sister, whom he also coached. Steph can't stand being inferior to her sisters and wants to quit softball but her parents won't let her. They say that quitting would be wasting such rare talent, but how rare can it be when her sisters' talent exceeds it? Steph was always interested in dancing, and she has a dancer's figure. She's been taking lessons while she's supposed to be conditioning at the gym. Steph is so afraid of her parents and what would happen if they found out, but she loves dancing, and she wouldn't stop for anything in the world. Steph is generally quiet and reserved, but she has lots of bubbly, popular friends.

Dominique "Minnie" Ella Castille [23] is the oldest of the Castille sisters. She went to study criminoloy sciece with a fulll ride scholarship on softball. She graduated a year ago and is now working in a lab with the criminal case department. She is very independent, but very close to her family. She lives in Washington whcih is 200 miles away from home but visits every break she gets.

Everly Indiana Chad (24) is the best friend of Minnie Castille. The two met in kindergarten, and have been inseparable ever since. They moved to Washington to go to college together, and Minnie is the godmother of Everly's newborn son, Solomon Wesley Brooks. Everly graduated college with a degree in English Literature, and has plans to become a high school teacher once Solomon is a year old. She met her fiance three years ago, and although the couple weren't trying for children so soon Everly has always wanted to start her family young, and is completely in love with her son. Being an only child she wants to have at least three children of her own, but the couple are planning to wait at least three years before having any more.

Meredith Hannah Salberg (24) is best friends with Everly Chad and Minnie Castille. Meredith only joined their circle upon meeting them in college, where Minnie was her roommate. Meredith also majored in criminology, and her skills are incredible, but as a sunny, Southern girl, all this darkness is taking its toll on her. Still, though, she is sweet and a joy to be around. Meredith is dating right now, but her father used to hit her, so she has some trust issues with men. She loves being around Everly and Minnie, Solomon, too. Her boyfriend makes her so happy, but she feels she has to cut ties or he'll take advantage of her subordination. Meredith likes to investigate unsolved cases that her lab contributes evidence to, and she is quite good at it. Right now, she is on the trail of a female hired assassin and grifter, her hardest case yet.

Samuel Matthew Ivanwic (40) is Meredith's half brother. Their parents married when Sam was 16, and 9 months later baby Meredith was born. Sam is a soccer coach of children aged 5 to 10 and enjoys his job immensley. The kids adore him.

Liliana 'Lilia' Maria Ivanwic (36) is the wife of Sam, and sister-in-law of Meredith. She met Sam when he was 19 and she was 15, and the pair soon became best friends. It took them five years to discover that their feelings for each other went deeper, and Lilia was happy when Sam asked her to be his girlfriend. They married ten years ago, and have two children together. Lilia works as a model and photographer, and runs her own family photography business. She adores her job, and she loves being a mum too. She'd love to have another baby, but the couple had to have help to conceive the two children they already have, and so she knows that another baby is almost impossible. She's thinking of bringing up adoption, and is hoping that Sam will be receptive to the idea.

 

Carter Samuel Ivanwic (5) is the oldest child of Sam and Lilia, nephew of Meredith, and older brother to a two year old girl. Carter is an outgoing, happy child, who loves to be outside and be active. He's a helpful big brother, and likes to spend time with his little sister playing games.

 

Caitlin Maria Ivanwic (2) is the younger sister of Carter, daughter of Sam and Lilia, and niece of Meredith. Caitlin is a happy child, but she's a little shy at times. She enjoys being her mama's model, and loves to try on new clothes and pose for pictures. She adores her big brother, and loves spending time with him playing outside, or playing board games.
