I think we already have a shortlist of Fiona, Aveline, Rhiannon, and Elowen. Some of them I like more than others, but we've been discussing more options.

Matilda "Tilly". My issue with this is that I don't like Mattie/Maddie, only Tilly.

Adelina "Ada". Also like Addie but there's an Abby in our close family. The A in Ada is not pronounced like Ava, but like cat.

Serena/Sarina. Not sure which spelling.

Thanks! I'm really liking the idea of Fable or Parker as a middle name. Both would honor.

I love Matilda and Serena (Sarina reminds me of sarin gas, and the Serena spelling is easier to remember).   I'm with you on Mattie/Maddie.  Not a fan of Tilly either, but it's a lot better than Maddie.

I like the idea of using middle names to honor someone, but Parker is all boy to me.  I could never picture it for a little girl. I'm not crazy about word "names", so Fable is a huge miss.  Sorry if this is too harsh.

Thank you! The middle names are not everyone's style, I realize. Parker is all boy to me as well, but it honors a young girl in my community with cancer so I feel like it would lose its honor if I used it for a boy. Fable honors myself and my great-grandmother since we both are/were writers, and I'd honestly use it as a first name if I could convince my husband.

I don't really like Cyrenna, sorry. It seems like it would be hard to spell and pronounce (I said it SY-rehna in my head at first). I think I like the Sarina spelling because it reminds me of Sabrina which I love. I'd be worried about misspellings though, so that's why I also have Serena.
