Rebecca from northeast:

We don't know what the gender is but are at a loss! We are orthodox and would like a saint's name; something unique but not weird. Our sons name is Aidan James Taylor if that helps...

Girl name: Claudia (after St. Claudia, mother of Pope Linus, mentioned by Paul in 2 Timothy)

I'm extremely surprised I haven't seen Claudia on this list yet. One of my best friends has a very saintly name, Claudia Isabella (I won't say her last name, but it has to do with church, even!). I think Claudia is a cute and classy girl name that no one else in get class will have.

Some saintly middle names for Claudia:
-Claudia Isidora (St. Isidora was a humble and pious nun. Considered mentally challenged and noted as wearing as dishrag for a habit, she was mocked by her Christian sisters, only to be sainted by Christ.)
-Claudia Alena (Born into a pagan family, St. Alena gave her life to Christ in secret, and was arrested during a secret church service, becoming a martyr for Christ.)
-Claudia Anne (According to the Apocrypha, St. Anne is the mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ.)
-Claudia Jane (St. Jane was an incredible woman of God whose story is too long to print here. Please, look her up yourself!)
-Claudia Georgia (A maiden Saint, attendees at St. Georgia's funeral included a large flock of snow-white doves.)
-Claudia Sabine (A matron, martyr, and one heck of a woman. When her slave and fellow Christian, the eventual St. Serapia, was killed for her faith, St. Sabine rescued her remains and was laid them to rest in her own family mausoleum.)
-Claudia Irene (There are multiple St Irene's, including the Great Martyr Irene and the sister of Pope St. Damascus I.)
-Claudia Salome (A disciple of Jesus, St. Salome was both present at His crucifixion and witnessed His empty grave.)
-Claudia Jeanne/Claudia Joan (After a personal hero of mine, St. Jeanne d'Arc/Joan of Arc)Girl name: Claudia (after St. Claudia, mother of Pope Linus, mentioned by Paul in 2 Timothy)

Hope these help! I will put the boy's names in a quoted reply.

I don't have a clear pick for a boy's name as I did with Claudia, so I'll just list first names, along with their saintly connections

-Adrian (After St. Adrian of Canterbury, a highly successful missionary to the pagan English.)
-Basil (Patron saint of hospital administrators, St. Basil decided to quit his law practice to become a monk, eventually forming his own monastery.)
-Damian (The twin of St. Cosmas, the brothers practiced medicine while sharing the Gospel and refused payment for their works.)
-Elias (A martyr and prophet, St. Elias ministered to Christians in labor camps alongside St. Daniel, encouraging them not to give up faith in God.)
-Jude (Patron saint of desperate situations and lost causes. St. Jude was one of the twelve apostles and was known for exorcist get idols, causing them to crumble.)
-Killian (A bishop and missionary, St. Killian spent eleven years ministering to Gaul.)
-Maurice (St. Maurice was, in a word, awesome. A commander in an anti-Christian army, he led a group of soldiers who were converts, encouraging them to trust in the Lord. He and his men were eventually martyred.)
-Pascal (A pope who gave refuge to persecuted peoples.)
-Quentin (A Roman martyr, St. Quentinus, his full name, was extremely successful as a preacher in Gaul.)
-Roman (St. Romanus, in full, is the patron saint of drowning victims and the mentally ill. He was a monk and lived as a hermit with his biological brother and sister.)
-Samson (A holy monk, St. Samson was noted for his spiritual maturity.)
-Theodore (There are two saints by the name of Theodore, a miracle-worker and a martyr soldier.)
-Tobias (Check the non-canonical Book of Tobias for more info.)
