Hi all,

We have a long-ish list of possible names for our third daughter, sixth and last child. Believe it or not, we have narrowed it down a little bit but for the last few months we were unable to shorten it and my due date is getting closer and closer.

We are trying to pick one out of:

Lillian
Juliet
Matilda
Miranda
Felicity
Vivian
Victoria
Valeria

Whoever she turns out to be, she will be joining siblings Tobias, Anna-Sofia, Gideon, Iris and Elliot.

What are your opinions? Which one gets your vote?

My vote is for Juliet! Beautiful name.

Juliet Valeria or Juliet Miranda?

Juliet is cute, but I think it is too close to Elliot. Not usable.
I also think Vivian and Lillian are too close to Gideon.

I would say that Felicity fits in best with you other kids.
Matilda comes in second!

Vivienne Juliet would be gorgeous! But I do think it's a little too close to Gideon.

My favorites are Matilda Vivian or Matilda Juliet! :)

I like Miranda and Juliet. Since Juliet is similar to Elliot I would go with Miranda Juliet.

Miranda, Victoria, and Valeria feel out of place. Lillian goes okay but that makes 2 out of 3 girls flower names, so there's that to consider, as well as being a bit rhymey with Gideon as others pointed out. Vivian has the same problem. By itself, Juliet (though I prefer Juliette) is my favorite on your list, but Felicity goes best with the sib set. Matilda fits in nicely as well, and both are lovely names. What middle names are you considering?

My top three for you:
Felicity
Matilda
Juliette

They're all respectable names, but Valeria is dangerously close to "malaria."

I love Matilda, Juliet, Vivian, & Lillian. I think the one that works best with the siblings names is Matilda. I would say Juliet but Elliot is too similar.

This makes me think... What is the correct pronunciation of Valeria? I always thought it was Val-err-eee-uh (rhyming with Galleria) not Vuh-lare-eee-uh (rhyming with Malaria) but I could very well be wrong, I've never met one.

Vivian is my pick.

Vivian Marie? or Vivian Rose?

Lillian - Eh, I prefer Vivienne over Lillian, plus I'd stay away from having two flower-esq named children.
Juliet - I find Juliet and Elliot a bit too similar sounding for siblings, unless you plan on using a nickname. I adore the nn Jules.
Matilda - LOVE! I think this name fits the best with your other children's names.
Miranda - I do like Miranda, but Matilda is by far my favorite.
Felicity - I've never been fond of this name.
Vivian - LOVE! A bit similar to Gideon, but not too close. I adore the nickname Vivi.
Victoria - Victoria has a very harsh sound to me and all of your other children have such soft and wonderful names.
Valeria - agree with previous poster, sounds too similar to malaria, not a pretty sound.

Hope this helps. Good Luck!
