Okay, so again I'm writing the book to a musical me and a local composer are writing

The story is that two unknown people meet at a nightclub. (I already have their names, Alyssa and Jackson.) They fall in love and hook up for a night, but when the morning comes, Jackson is gone and Alyssa is left alone. The problem is that both of them are in a relationship. Jackson is in a relationship, and Alyssa is engaged to another man. Soon, Alyssa finds out that she's pregnant but when her boyfriend arrives (his name is either Tommy, Steven, or Michael) he thinks he is the father. This sets off a whole chain, and Alyssa and the boyfriend get married until Jackson takes Alyssa away and they run off together leaving the boyfriend heartbroken.

After they've run away, and nine months later Alyssa gives birth to a baby boy.

Any names?

Oh and note: No -aiden names please.

What type of name do you want? Traditional? Trendy? Unique?

I assume that by "modern" you refer to names that were used in the 80's and 90's and won't seem dated nowadays.

Some names you could use:

David
James
Daniel
Andrew
Ryan
Nicholas
Adam
Benjamin
Nathan
Zachary
Alexander
Derek
Nathaniel
Austin
Luke
Troy
Logan
Levi
Noah
Connor
Taylor
Ethan
Lucas
Matthew
Christopher

I hope this helps.

An idea have his name be James Chandler/Christopher and have his nn. be Jace!

I saw this is the Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare and loved it!

First I thought of was Reid/Read/Reed...Read is my great uncles name which I've always liked and it has become more popular and trendy now. I also really like Bennett, I love Pride and Prejudice and so I really think this would be a cute name for a little boy. Maddox or Max or Maddox nn Max. Chase or Chance. Lincoln. All of these I would categorize between Traditional and Trendy...except for maybe Maddox, thats pretty much just trendy. I would go with something like Lincoln or Bennett that is a surname but also a cute fn since most surnames would give you what you are looking for. Another fave surname turned fn I like is Whitman nn Whit.

I like Jace and James-Christopher and Reid, but I wouldn't use it because I hated this Reid kid all through college.

Alright :)

Thanks to everyone that helped me decide on names :P

I've started writing the libretto (which is the book, for all my non-theatre linguists) and I have the score set up after the libretto is done.

This'll take me three or four years to even finish because I cut out so many things and then add things it, and then repeats.

(Sorry for the rambling)

So what names have you decided? I really like Alyssa...hmmm. I wonder why. And Jackson is nice. Perhaps the nickname Jacks/Jax? What do you think? I also like Steven for her fiance.
