Hi, we love unusual names, especially Ara for a boy, after the Armenian king. Can we use it as a lot of people have said no? What are some alternatives? Middle will be Taniel or Roland (after his grandad)
Thank you

I think it's definately usable. An alternative, though, would be the very handsome Asa. It's on my list :)

Ara Taniel is nice, but slightly feminine (I don't know why, but Taniel looks slightly feminine to me) but Ara Daniel is very handsome! Ara Roland is a little bit of a tongue twister

I agree with Addy, Ara is very useable on a boy, it feels more masculine to me anyhow. As Addy also mentioned, Asa is an alternative (though more and more people seem to be liking it, which makes me sad lol), and I also agree with her that Ara Daniel would be very handsome indeed!
Good luck finding the perfect name for your son.
