I have a brunette girl with blonde highlights in my story, gorgeous, very attractive etc. I named her Olivia/Alivia. Which do you prefer, Alivia, Olivia, or neither? nn most likely will be Liv. If neither, any suggestions? Thanks! ~Had

I want to be an author one day, so my fingers are crossed. I also enjoy dance and hanging out with my friends.

I think of an 'O'livia as a girl with ginger or blonde hair, whereas for the name 'A'livia i think of a girl with brown or really dark hair.

I think Alivia suits the character better. Plus, the nn's could be

-Ali instead of Oli..
-Liv
-Livvy

I really dislike the nn Oli for a girl.. not quite sure why.. ;)

I prefer Alivia, just because girls like that tend to have 'trendier' names than most. (If that makes sense.) They used to when I went to high school.

ei: an ordinary Brittany became a Brittanee.

I like Olivia better.
However, I think Alyvia/Alivia would work best
nn could be Aly/Ali or Livvy/Lyvvi

Okay, I think Alivia would work better, I get what your saying, Evy =) Its like that in my school a lot, too. I tend to say Olivia and Alivia differently, too, though. Like Olivia, ohh-liv-ee-ah, and Alivia Ahh-liv-ee-ah....but I always saw Olivia to be darker haired and Alivia to be bright blonde, so I wasn't sure....Thanks! ~Had
