You know what I can't stand? When people name their kids like this: Julie Anne. It sounds to much like a first name.
A few others I can think of:
Lily Ann (Lillian)
Jessa Lynn (Jessalyn)
What do you guys think?
What bothers me!

That doesn't really bother me, although it does sound strange, it would be better hyphenated I think.
What do you think of Ruth-Ellyn, it's sort of like Ruthlyn, but it sounds a little different. I think hyphenating it makes it better, and sort of adding a different letter here and there, like Julia-Anne, or Jessie-Lyn. Lily Ann can't be changed, and I don't like that combo, but I do like Julia-Anne and Jessie-Lyn. What do you think?

I would prefer something like Julie Anne to just be Julianne, but that's just personal preference. It doesn't bother me

Lily Ann sounds different than Lillian, at least when I say it - like the accent of the name is on different parts. Lily-ANN as opposed to LILY-enn.
The ones that sound odd to me are the Lee and Lynn ones:
Heaven Leigh
Sincere Lee
Emma Leigh
Jessa Lynn
Cara Lynn
Elle Lynn (Elle is one syllable, so it's like "Ellen" said together)

I LOVE the first name Juliann!!! But I think Julie Ann is just blah like they couldn't think of a middle name.
