Kind of just fell in love with this name - and it would go so perfectly in a sibset with Finley. But I worry about both these names - while they are predominately male names, they (esp Finley) are being used on girls more and more lately. And especially with the -ley/y endings (and names such as Avery and Emery becoming more common on girls as well) I fear they just might be too feminine.

But what do you guys think? Yay or nay? Also, I've come up with the combo Conley Rowan - do you like it with Finley James?

I like Conley. I've actually never heard it before for boys or girls. Conley Rowan sounds great with Finley James. I understand what you mean about boy names turning to the girl side, but I don't see that as a problem for Conley, at least not any time soon... it's too uncommon right now.

The combo Conley Rowan would flow very well with Finley James! Very handsome combos.

I'm not a huge fan of Conley, however. Only because I've always heard it used as a last name and the name of my high school, lol. Overall very handsome combos and sibset though! <3

I'm not too sure about Conley. It almost seems like it is missing something, like it is supposed to be Connelly.

I felt like something was missing too, but I couldn't put my finger on it. But I totally agree with Katie, Connelly would look much cleaner

Conley (or even Connelly) doesn't really sound too feminine. I know Finley doesn't even a little, but I don't see much femininity in this either. I guess 'Connie' would be feminine. But I see this as a all boys name

Conley Rowan sounds handsome, but Rowan is "technically" a unisex name I think this combo looks very masculine, but just technically Idk, I'm rambling haha

I do agree that Connelly looks like a fuller name, but it adds that extra syllable in there that I don't want. (CON-neh-lee vs CON-lee)

Also, while I don't foresee Conley as becoming used much on girls, I think it just might sound too feminine - just with it being close to Connie and ending in -ley. I'm not sure. It's a name I'm feeling on the fence about at this point

I agree that Conley is boyish. I don't really see it on a girl.

Just when I see Conley I want to say Connelly even though I know it doesn't have the extra syllable.

It is very relieving to hear that so many of you find Conley strictly masculine. I guess I'm just worried about giving my kid a "soft" name. I'm all for strong, manly names on boys. So thanks everyone :]

I reallly like Conley. I've never heard it but I like it. I like Finley too, but I'm not sure if I like them as a sibset. They seem to similar imho.
