EDIT: I've decided I really like Leona nn Lennie, now I just need help finding a middle name.

So I'm officially adding Leona to my list. Now I just need your help to decide where it goes. Leona is in honor of Ben's grandmother who passed away from cancer a few years ago. I think he would prefer to use it in the first name spot, although I'm not entirely sure if he wants to call a little girl Leona or have her go by a middle name.

My current list:

Sidda Marylark (Marylark is after both my grandparents)
Edie Georgiana
Farris Winifred
Prynn Cordelia

Molly (would prefer fn or nn for Mary)
Percy (fn)
River
True
Pheriby
Ophelia
Patience
Laurence
Larue
Lorraine
Matilda
Emilia
Violet
Augustine
Celeste
Phoebe
Wren
Gail/Gayle

Feel free to make combos using the names on my list or some of your own using Leona in either the first or middle name spot.

Thanks in advance!

Aw I just love Sidda Marylark, and Edie Georgiana is goorgeous!! Sidda and Edie would be such a cutesy sibset as well <3 Farris Winifred and Prynn Cordelia are also lovely <3

Leona fits in fairly well. A little longer than most your first names, but I can picture her a part of the sibling set <3 Hmm, I like Leona with these of your names..

Leona River / River Leona
Leona True
Leona Pheriby
Leona Patience
Leona Violet
Augustine Leona
Leona Celeste
Leona Phoebe
Leona Wren
Leona Gail/Gayle

I'm a bit biased as a few of these names are also on my list, but I think Leona Patience and Leona Violet just sound so fabulous!! They flow nicely and are plain pretty :) plus they'd match your list really well <3 Leona River is also really nice, I just love how they sound together. Leona Gail too, I really like that <3 Leona Beatrice, Leona Thessaly / Tess, Leona Gannet, Leona Merle, Leona Starling, or Leona Sparrow? Gannet, Merle, Starling, and Sparrow of course all being bird names cause I remember you were interested in them for some time :) I actually really like Leona Gannet for some reason, sounds nice :)

Anyway, hope this was helpful! :)

Thanks Remy!

I do like Leona River / River Leona, Leona Patience & Leona Violet. I had forgotten about Thessally, Leona Thessally is lovely too!

Also, what do you think about the possible nickname Leo if we went with the first name Leona?? Or maybe Nona?

:D

I don't know how I feel about Leo as a nick name for Leona. It totally makes sense, but I guess I see Leo as strictly male. I imagine Lea being a cute nick name, but I guess Leo just isn't my style. Nona is a sweet nick name :) My mum wants to be called Nona or Noni when she has grandkids :) Its Italian for grandmother. I still do like Nona though, even if it means grandmother hehe. :)

Yeah, I'm not too sure about Leo/Lea. I feel like Leo could work for a girl since it is so similar sounding to Cleo, and I think -o ending names for girls can be spunky and cute. But something about how it looks on paper (or on screen, lol)...it just seems so insignificant and barely there. But I could definitely see using Nona at least as a 'pet' name. You don't think it is too much of a stretch?

true actually, Leo is kinda like Cleo. Could definitely end up being spunky and cute! I also associate Leo with my neighbors surname though, so idk. I don't think Nona's a stretch though, not much of one anyway. I think of it in the same way as Hattie from Harriet or something of that sort. There is no specific area of Harriet (or Leona) that specially contains Hattie (or Nona) as Katelyn has Kate in it or something. But it still feels right :)
