I recently heard of the name Tiersen for a boy (pron. Teer-zen). Really loving it! I love the sound, but the spelling looks a little bit awkward. Tiersan/Tiersen maybe? WDYT?

Though it looks like it could be Irish or Scottish, it is in fact a French surname (Made famous by French composer/musician, Yann Tiersen). Tiersen would be best I think.

If it wasn't a surname I would say go ahead and change the spelling a bit, but I think it should be kept Tiersen since it's a surname. It's kind of cool though. I really like unusual surnames for boys. It especially works in novels about rich kids in boarding school I've noticed haha.
