Being the huge baby names geek that I am, I love to meet new families with interesting sibsets! I sort of make a study of them. I know tons of families with Elizabeths, Michaels, & Davids, but not so many with Corettas, Raphaels, Aletheas, or Theodores! Here are some of the more interesting sibsets that I've seen:

Kinsey
Olivia
Theodore "Theo"
Kateri
Gemma

Elena
Valentina “Valya”
Anastasia “Nastia”
Mariana
Jacinta
Charles “Charlie”

Elsa
Marit
Bjorn

Everett
Weston
Carly
Conrad
Nathaniel
Leland
Marlena
Harrison
Coretta

Myles
Meagan
Shadrach
Cassandra “Cassy”
Allister

Van
Camille
Thile

Jaklyn
Francesca
Victoria
Dominique

[This one is short, but sweet]
Leo
Felix

[Yes, I know a lot of big Catholic homeschool families, hence all the saint names!]
Kateri
Eamon
Stephen
Juliette
Ambrose
Gabrielle
Raphael
Daniel

Neko
Simon
Willa

[I just love this one!]
Finn
Maggie
Seamus
Sophie

[The strangest I’ve ever seen by far]
Elle
Jonas
Epiphany
Beseda “Bess”
Perseverance
Alethea
Isaac
Mercy
Nicea
Gethsemane
Petra

What interesting sibsets have you encountered?

I once met two little brothers that were Owen and Luke. Like Owen and Luke Wilson. I thought it was cute, though the parents swore that it was completely unintentional.

Guy <-- poor kid!

Katherine-Elizabeth

Kinsey
Olivia
Theodore "Theo"
Kateri
Gemma
I love this sibset, especially Theodore and Gemma. Kinsey looks like the odd one out, though.

Elena
Valentina “Valya”
Anastasia “Nastia”
Mariana
Jacinta
Charles “Charlie”
Great sibset. I love Elena, Mariana and Charles

Elsa
Marit
Bjorn
I don't like the names, but they go really well together as a sibset.

Everett
Weston
Carly
Conrad
Nathaniel
Leland
Marlena
Harrison
Coretta
Carly seems misplaced among all the other less common names.

Myles
Meagan
Shadrach
Cassandra “Cassy”
Allister
I really dislike the spelling variations. Other than that, they are nice names

Van
Camille
Thile
Kind of eclectic.

Jaklyn
Francesca
Victoria
Dominique
This is a great sibset, the names are elegant and classic. It's a pitty that the spelling of Jaklyn really ruins the name.

Leo
Felix
very sweet brotherset indeed

Kateri
Eamon
Stephen
Juliette
Ambrose
Gabrielle
Raphael
Daniel
Very nice. I love Juliette, Gabrielle, Raphael and Daniel

Neko
Simon
Willa
Simon and Willa are great together. Neko looks out of place.

Finn
Maggie
Seamus
Sophie
This sibset is almost perfect! I'd prefer it if the girl were called Margaret and Sophia nn Maggie and Sophie

Elle
Jonas
Epiphany
Beseda “Bess”
Perseverance
Alethea
Isaac
Mercy
Nicea
Gethsemane
Petra
"Strange" is the excat word to describe this sibset

Sabrina
and
Cheylene
I'm not fond of these names in particular

Soren
Sophilia
This is not a very "happy" sibset. Soren reminds me of sore, and Sophilia sounds like zoophilia

Phebe
Rebekah
Guy <-- poor kid!
Yes, poor kid

Katherine-Elizabeth
Megan-Frances
Anna-Juliet
This sisterset is gorgeous! I just think that the hyphens may be a little too much

Abagayle Dorothy
Gabriela Hope
#3 - Benjimin Story or Kaydense Araya
Abigail, Benjamin and Cadence are great names as they are, why change the spellings?!

Justin Casey
Joshua Leroy
Liann Vivian
Poor Justin. Is Liann prnounced "Lee-ann" o "LAY-ann"

Attiyah
Veronica
Isis
Nigel
Another eclectic sibset

Brooklee
Nina
Gemma
The only name that I like is Gemma. Brooklee looks like they weren't able to decide between Brook or Brooklyn

I went to visit my best friend today, and she was babysitting her 5-year-old nieces. They are twins called Clara and Elisa.

I really like the sibset, the names are very sweet and go nicely together.

sounds pretty good together until you look at their middle names.

I also know a family with:

Vanessa
McKinsey
Gillian
Jack

That's not so bad either.

Sicily and Savanna - There is one actor - the one who played John Boy in the Waltons I think - who named his kids after the city in which they were conceived - That's what I think of now when I hear place names.

Casey (male) and Lacy - Wow. So rhymy. I have enough trouble keeping my kids' names straight when they are different.

Brontae, Krista, and Weston - This is a nice set. I would prefer Bronte though.

**********

Gilbertina, Lovelie, & Darcella
William Arthur, Esther Sue, Frank Leroy, & Jean Faye
Logan, Lelah, Daisy & Caleb
Godwin, Rosalind, Patrick, Godfrey, Anthony, God's Power (male- now Stephen), Victoria, Charity, Andrew, Joseph, Ovie (O-vee-aye - now Moses)

  • Interests:I’m a little bit of a dork. I actually like hanging out with my family. I like to scrapbook and crochet. There’s nothing like a warm mug of coffee or tea on a really cold morning. I love to sing. Being with my friends makes me happy. I like genealogy. Knowing about the past helps me prepare for the future. I’m über curious. Music is my anti-drug. I can’t read music, so I memorized every piece of music I ever played in band. I can play the clarinet, flute, piano, tenor sax, and alto sax. I love taking pictures…I guess you could say that I’m a real shutterbug. I love the smell of gas, tire, and lumber. There is nothing better than those smells. Really. I’m a huge movie buff. I like funny movies, but romantic movies are my favorite. Typical girl, right? I’m a big sap when it comes to love: I believe everybody should get to feel the intensity of true love.
