I have recently started to love the name Elise/Elyse. I originally only liked the spelling Elise because I thought the "y" looked tryndee but now I'm slowly starting to like it spelled Elyse. Which spelling do you prefer?

Also, I'm having the hardest time finding a middle name to pair it with. So far I've come up with:

Elise Vivienne
Elise Juliet
Elise Claire
Elise Camille

I can't decide if I like any of them though. Like any? Any suggestions?

Thanks <_<

I LOVE Elise.

I love both spellings though. :P

Here's some combo's: (Going to use Elise just because I can't be bothered to add a y each time!)

Elise Marie
Elise Vivienne
Elise Cameron
Elise Lauren (Courtesy of Ash and Elyse!)
Elise Taylor
Elise Charlotte (Too close to Scarlett? :P)
Elise Madeline
Elise Isabella
Elise Georgia
Elise Abigail
Elise Theresa
Elise Julianne
Elise Melody
Elise Rebecca (Though I prefer most of these switched over with Elise as the mn)
Elise Caroline
Elise Josephine
Elise Monica
Elise Sophie
Elise Stephanie
Elise Harper
Elise Hannah (Hannah Elise)
Elise Cadence
Elise Jane
Elise Rose
Elise Natalia
Elise Magdalene
Elise Avery (Though if Caroline will use Avery that's not suggested. :P)
Elise Harlow
Elise Sarah (Or Sarah Elise)
Elise Imogen
Elise Clara
Elise Kaylee (To close to Kate..?)
Elise Gracie
Elise Lillian (Or however you spell it!)
Elise Ivy (Or Ivy Elise)
Elise Mariah
Elise Veronica
Elise Keira
Elise Phoebe (Phoebe Elise is cute!)
Elise Daisy
Elise Nora (I prefer Nora Elise <_<)
Elise Genevieve
Elise Reagan
Elise Annabelle
Elise Noelle
Elise Honor
Elise Penelope
Elise Rose
Elise Cassidy
Elise Jessica
Elise Zoe
Elise Rachel
Elise Tiffany
Elise Willow
Elise Jasmine
Elise Makenna
Elise Naomi
Elise Brooklyn
Elise Piper
Elise Danielle
Elise Holly
Elise Yasmine (I joke, I joke) :'D

My favourites are Elise Madeline, Elise Julianne, Elise Caroline, Elise Harper, Elise Mariah and Elise Vivienne. :P

It just seems to me that the flow is usually better if you swap it around and use Elise as a mn. Though I way prefer it as a mn.. -confused myself now!-

Maybe it just suits a mn with 3 syllables? :P

What about;

Elisa
Elizabeth
Elinor/Eleanor
Ella
Eliana
Eliora
Elaine
Ellen
Elena

Or... umm.. Alissa?

Hope this helps Anna! <3

You are amazing Yas! This list is incredible.

I love these:
Elise Vivienne
Elise Cameron (Even though I'm not a fan of Cameron, I do love the way this one sounds...)
Elise Lauren (Your sister's name is lovely, Ally!)
Elise Taylor
Elise Charlotte (I love it but probably too close to Scarlett's name :/)
Elise Madeline
Elise Julianne (What do you think of Elise Juliana? Jul-ee-ah-nuh)
Elise Melody (I love this one...I also like Elise Harmony)
Elise Caroline
Elise Natalia
Elise Avery (My sister's name is actually Sara :P and she is 99.9% using it :/ )
Elise Sara (maybe a way to honor my sister? But then Lett would be the only one without an "honoring" mn)
Elise Clara (I LOVE this one. I'm actually really considering Clara Elise right now...hmm)
Elise Keira
Elise Rachel
Elise Naomi
Elise Piper
Elise Yasmine ()

My top three are Elise Vivienne, Elise Caroline, & Elise Harmony.

But I'm adoring Clara Elise. I think Clara sounds better than Elise does with our last name as well.

Maybe it just suits a mn with 3 syllables?
I think so too :P

I love Ella, but fear it's popluarity. Also, I think it's a tad to close to Lilah. The reason why I've resorted to Elise :P

I also really like Elena, along with Elaina/Alaina. I still haven't let that one go of my favorites list...

Thanks so much, Yas! This has helped a ton <_<

I'm not really a fan of Elise/Elyse, but I can see the appeal.

I do like some names with Elise in them such as Annelise.

Elise Claire is pretty.

I like it spelt Elyse. I also know a girl who spells it Alysse, which doesn't look very much Elyse, but its another option for you

OOOOO, I kind of like that.

I would never use it, of course, but I kind of like it.
