Okay, I'm not going to get into the discussion of how original or unoriginal Everleigh/Everly is, just point out that if no one else is on an individual's side of an argument, they should wonder why.

I know I'm probably the only one, but I dislike the name Everleigh Ray. It looks made up to me and though the sound is pretty all I think of when I say it aloud is Everlast. LoL So there ya go, I am one person at least who will never name a child Everleigh. AND THAT IS MY OPINION GUYS!

how do you prn kehliann is it like kay-lee-ann? i like your kids names btw i wish i could settle on a theme like that but it wont happen lol but i think its cute.

You say it like Kelly and Ann put together. My parents basically compromised because they had 2 similar names in mind. But I like it because it's unique but easy enough to pronounce. Thanks for the compliment. I wasn't one of those people who wanted a theme; it just kind of happened. But thanks again for being so complimentary. :)

We realise what you're trying to say. We DO!
But do you need to get into an argument and make snide comments to 17 year olds, that like the name YOU gave YOUR daughter?
I dont think YOU understand what WE'RE saying. You can have your own opinions and were not saying you can't in any way whatsoever! But please, next time try to think about how they might affect other people. We're not attacking you and I'm sorry you feel that way.

Well said, Yasmine! I think that this should have been a small thing but, Sally, you may have misunderstood us all and tried to defend yourself. I think that the name, Everleigh/Everly, is nice, and that it is not overly popular, but not uncommon either. I really like it and I really like Kehliann's name too, lol.

Thanks Maggie, I like how you deflected everything she said. :)

I think Kehliann's name is beautiful!
And I really like the name Everly. It's pretty, original but not too quirky. Overall, a wonderful choice.

I would like to say: Sally, if you can't take the heat, then don't PM someone and expect them to be nice.

I had a Everlee in my class back in 1998 and another Everleigh in 2002. I think I like the spelling Everlee to Everleigh. I dunno, to me, Everleigh spelt like that looks too busy. Everly/Everlee looks neater to me.

Totally agree, Zayda.

Now back to the ORIGINAL point?!
I've never seen Everly spelled Everlee.. but I think it's beautiful! That being said, I've also never met any Everly's..

It's beginning to grow on me! The more I see it, the more I like it. :)

If you don't want me to reply, stop sending me messages. And learn to spell. The teacher in me is weeping at your grammar.

Yasmine, I think Everlee is gorgeous as well! Followed by Everley. I've also heard a Everline.

Here is what I think of the spellings:
Everleigh-that is eww to me. I dislike "Leigh" names, most of the time.
Everly-gorgeous! I think it is so pretty!
Everlee-I've never seen it but it is very appealing to the eyes, IMO
Everlie-No one suggested this. I like lie names, but tend to not use them b/c people would think it is Ever-L-eye.

:)

Zayda, I love Everline! I think I might prefer Everleine, but still it is nice, did you like that version of the name?

Woah! I love Everline. How about Everlyn?... Or is that just weird? :)
I do prefer just plain Evelyn.

What about Everdine?

I completely agree with you Zayda, as I've already stated and I think most OTHERS have as well.
Sally didn't your mother teach you that if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all?

Everlyn is nice, Yasmine! I wouldn't necessarily suggest it though, because (and i'm not trying to be mean, so please don't take this the wrong way) it sounds like saying Evelyn with a lisp.

Okay, sorry for that rude comment ^^^^

I loved it, actually. That was one of the inspirations to Evy's name. When we were looking for names for her, that's the one we stumbled upon and I fell in love with it. She was either going to be an Everlee or Everline. In the end (and don't ask me how we ended up with it, lol) we just ended up with Evy.

I think that Everline would have been nice, but I really like Evy!
