I've been playing around with Orion again lately. I've loved it for a long long time but initially wrote it off as unusable. As I've gotten older its become more usable to me since it brings up some fond memories.
A few people have warnd me off of it on other sights because it is so identifiable as the constellation. I've tried to find some other star/constellation names but none of them really stand out to me the same way Orion does.

Possible combos are Isaac Orion, Marcus Orion (MOB initials), Orion Caine and Caleb Orion.

I like it a lot! I think it is totally usable. I think the "Ryan" sound makes it seem less foriegn.

I like Isaac Orion a lot!

I love Isaac Orion. or even Orion Isaac. I don't see any problem in using this name, it's lovely! And surely having it associated with stars is a good thing - stars are incredible!

Thanks ladies! I'm going to mention it to Martin later.
I'm thinking maybe I'll save it (or a different star related name) for an adopted child since stars bring up memories that we both cherish, as a way to show a child who might feel different that we love them just as much as any other child. If Martin feels the same way about the idea. If not, I'll use it on my first son.

Did you know that Mark Twain had a brother named Orion?

I like the name very much! It is a strong, creative name, and I think that being associated with the constellation can be a good thing.
