I love Penelope but Scotland......not so much. I hate place/country/state names on children especially ones that seem like they're on the wrong gender and Scotland comes off as very masculine to me. But at least she has a pretty FN to use with cute nickname options like Penny, Nellie and Elle/Ellie.

i dont think it matched Mason Dash (which i think is cute). Penelope is nms. is Scotland maybe a link to Scott?? since Dash is Kourtney's thing maybe Scotland is a link to daddy? Overall i dont think its a horrible name at all. Do i think it's a cute sib set? No. Would i use it? No.

As much as I love Penelope, I don't think it goes very well with Mason {Dash}.

Both names are just very different styles.

I'm guessing Scotland was a way of honouring Scott, but it's definitely not my style.

Huh, I hadn't thought of that (Scotland for Scott)...I was actually trying to remember which sister Kourtney was and if she was the one with the boy or not.

I agree that Mason and Penelope are very different styles. I definitely wouldn't have pictured them for siblings. I think Penelope is adorable, but Scotland just doesn't cut it for me.

I think it would have been better if they had named her Penelope Scotlynn. I don't know. I think Scotland is too masculine. But the only thing that matters is that they chosen. :)

To be honest, I like Penelope Scotland. Even with Mason.
I know, call me crazy.

1. Penelope is a gorgeous name.
2. I think Scotland is cool! It's kind of like Ireland, but it honors somebody.
3. I think Penny (if they call her that) and Mason are VERY cute together!

Go ahead, shoot me. (:

Penelope is certainly becoming a more popular name. Tina Fey recently named her daughter this, and I've seen it on a few little girls. Makes me a little sad to one of my choice names becoming more popular, but it is a lovely name. It's cute and normal, but it also has some personality. And some cute nickname options - Penny and Nellie

I think Penelope is a nice, girlie, unique name. Scotland is neat if it honors Scott. And yes, Penny is very cute. You know that they will probably call her Penny a lot, they already shorten Mason's name all the time.

Also, has anyone seen many pictures of Penelope? The pictures I saw, she looked so much older than she actually was.

This is a late update, but they are calling Penelope by the nickname Nellie. (:

I love Nell/Nellie. I think it's more interesting and fun than the common "Penny".

Penelope is gorgeous; I LOVE IT! And Scotland, I like it somewhat. If it's in honor of Scott, then good. Otherwise, I think it sounds kind of like a boy's name. I still think there could be a clever way to fit Scott in though. I don't not like Scotland though! And Nellie is a cutie nickname<3

Penelope is...nice but not my favourite. Scotland isn't any worse than England or Ireland but I really don't like those sorts of names on a child.

I actually like it! Penelope has grown on me tremendously in the last few weeks. And I'm actually surprised on how much I like Scotland. It's not something I would use for my child, but it's quirky and cool and let's be real, there are way worse celeb baby names out there!
