Hey it's Maggie. What do you think of hyhenated names like Amanda-Kay or Rylie-Ann? What are your favourite hyphenated names? And what about double middle names? What are your favs?

I personally dont like them, therefore dont have any 'favorites'. Ditto on the double name thing. I would dread having to filll out a government form, God knows they barely give you any space to begin with!

One of my sister's name is hyphenated. It is Maria-Jose but she goes by Maria nonetheless. Another friend of mine is named Maria-Veronica.

I mostly agree with you but sometimes when I have like three names that I like and I don't want to get rid of any of them, I will either make a hyphenated name or double midle
Like...
I love Lillianne, Jazzlyn, and Marie
So I might do smething like lillianne jazzlyn marie or jazzlyn-marie lillianne.
I don't think I could use it on my own child.

Hyphenated names are okay, I like Emma-Kate as a hyphinated name. I generally like the two middle name idea though. Like Kathryn Scarlett-Taylor (with or without the hyphin). I like way to many names right now, so I plan on using two mn's in the future so I can use all the names I love, lols :) ~Hayden

All my kids have two middle name. The second middle names have to do with family names and meaning. Daphne most of the time goes by Daphne-Kate but I am trying to get people to call her just Daphne.

Sebastian Zane Conrad Anderson
Vivian Adelaide Winifred Anderson

I am not a fan of hyphenated names, I think it looks awkward. It's like having to put an apostrphe over Renee or something. Again, I'm southern so I have known quite a few Maryann's, Dawn Rebecca's, Michael Paul's, & Johnny Paul's in my day but none have been hyphenated. They are just pronounced together.

I don't care for them but most of the names I like are really long and I can't imagine giving a baby a name like Anastasia Kadence Aurora or something like that. I hated how long my name is and I only have one middle name. Victoria Elizabeth always seemed so long to me.

I always thought they were adorable! (That could also be because i dont have a middle name :) )

I Like names like:

Riley-Ann
Ella-Rose
Charley-Rose
Hannah-Jo
Alyssa-Mae
Riley-Rose
Sadie-Anne -Not sure about this one though..

And ones that, when said outloud, sound like one name:

Eva-Lynn
Addie-Lynn
Marie-Anne
Emma-Leigh
Davy-Lee
Tyler-Joe
Rose-Marie
Julie-Ann
Shane-Austin
Aubry-Anna

But some names ,like these, i prefer without the hyphen:

Tara Rose
Kiera Nichole
Lucas Benjamin
Carissa Danielle
Ava Claire
Tiegan James
Thomas Hayden
Mika Louise
Taylor Alyssa
Layla Grace

But i've always loved more than one middle name. You can never quite pick just one that you like, and this way, you can use more!

I mean, my mum has 3 middle names, and a double barreled surname.. :)

Andrea Simone Marie Louise Combelas-White

LOL.

Like:

Danielle Elizabeth Gloria
Isabella Nicole Rose
Daniel James Brody
Timothy Ryan Carter
Ava Grace Marie
Matthew Wyatt Alexander
Bianca Claire Louise
Claire Jade Leanne
Nathaniel Preston Cooper
Luka Faith Michelle

Sorry i wrote an entire essay. (;
