Hello, everyone! Some of you may know that I had the perfect names picked out for my baby-to-be by the time I was 11 weeks along. But now those perfect names aren't seeming so perfect, and my husband called for a reconsideration. We were originally planning on going with a word name, to fit in with our other two children, Charity and Miracle. But there are some non-word names that I'm falling head over heels for. I don't know. Is it okay to stray from our theme?
As for a middle name (or two) we'd like to honor some family. For a boy, James, Patrick, Nicholas, and Eugene are our top picks. For a girl, Elizabeth, Ann, Kathleen, or Isabella.

Here are the names we can agree on at this point, that fit into our theme...

Violet
Piper
Ruby
Story
Summer
Hazel
Holly
Ivy
Jasmine
Lily
Rose
Linnea
Rain
Paisley
Brook
Aspen
Taylor
Scarlett
Raven

Heath
August
Lance
Forest
Justice
River
Cooper
Chance
Parker
Gage
Lane
Ryder
Sawyer

I think you should pick a name that is just as meaningful to you as your other daughter's names. It doesn't necessarily need to be a word name as long as the name has some meaning.

I like Story or maybe even Stormy (like it's been a Stormy road). I know two girls named Stormy, one I went to highschool with and another that married a friend of mine. Rain is nice too.

Story Elizabeth
Story Kathleen
Stormy Elizabeth
Rain Isabella
Rain Elizabeth

For a boy I like Chance a lot.

Chance Patrick
Chance Nicholas

Go with what you like, not what you think fits. You'll only end up regretting it later on.

Ruby Elizabeth
Summer Elizabeth
Hazel Ann
Holly Isabella
Ivy Kathleen
Jasmine Elizabeth
Lily Ann
Rose Kathleen
Linnea Kathleen
Rain Elizabeth
Paisley Elizabeth
Brook Isabella
Aspen Elizabeth
Taylor Ann
Scarlett Kathleen

Heath Patrick
Lance Patrick
Forest James
Cooper James
Chance Nicholas
Parker Nicholas
Gage Patrick
Lane Nicholas

I think it's totally fine to stray from your theme. I highly doubt anyone will notice, and if they do, they probably won't focus too much on it. I know I wouldn't. Maybe you could use some of those word names as middles.

From your girl names, I like Violet, Ruby, Summer, Holly, Ivy, Jasmine, Lily, Rose, and Brook (though I prefer the spelling Brooke). I think Violet or Ruby would sound best with Charity and Miracle. Here are some middle name suggestions for those names:

Violet Isabella
Violet Miranda
Violet Kathleen
Violet Ruby
Violet Aspen
Violet Raven

Ruby Isabella
Ruby Kathleen
Ruby Elizabeth
Ruby Summer

From your boy names, I like Cooper, Parker, and Sawyer. Here are some middle name suggestions:

Cooper James
Cooper Nicholas
Cooper Eugene
Cooper August

Parker James
Parker Nicholas
Parker Eugene
Parker Lane

Sawyer James
Sawyer Nicholas
Sawyer Heath
Sawyer Lance

Good luck!
