a girl at my school said she loved the name Harlem Brooklyn for a boy, and she wanted to use it when she had a baby. What do you think? i don't like it at all. in my opinion Brooklyn is a girl name, and Harlem is not a name at all. but thats my opinion.

When I was first reading your post I thought 'Okay, Harlem Brooklyn, not too bad for a girl.' And then I saw it was for a boy! I dont like it at all. Brooklyn is such a pretty name for a GIRL, I've yet to meet a little boy with the name Brooklyn. (Hope I never do) I havent heard of Harlem and it isnt my favorite but I could get used to it. Theres a lot worse names out there. Overall I dont mind this name for a girl I'd probably rate it 6/10 but I really dont like it for a boy AT ALL!

David Beckam's son is called Brooklyn and I've always thought it as a girl's name. I don't like it for a boy, but it sounds nice for a girl

I think Harlem Brooklyn is too much New York in one name. Might not be bad on a girl, but I'm not a fan of it on a boy.

Being from New York myself, I love the name Brooklyn. At first, I loved it for a boy, because I heard that Victoria Beckham named her son this. And then I started liking it for a girl. But now it has become very popular, so it's off my list. Harlem, however, is not a good name for either gender. It's not exactly the most charming city in New York, and not a name that I would name my child. The name together is way too much.
