The worst name I've seen in awhile is Jason Lee (from my name is earl)'s SON...Pilot Inspektor. ######. You maybe could get away with Pilot...MAYBE....not likely but we'll give him that...but INSPEKTOR??? ###### on earth was he thinking/his gf thinking????!!!! Seriously what a horrible, horrible name. Job title first name? Job title and screwy spelled middle name? Yikes...

My two favorite "bad" baseball player names are Coco Crisp and Milton Bradley LOL....

Why do celebrities feel the need to name their children god awful things?

Like Apple, and Pilot Inspektor???

Geesh.

My oldest daughter does gymnastics, soccer, and dance and my youngest does soccer and dance, so those are my interests rights now.

I also love kids and my job. My husband and I's jobs both involve children.

I agree with you on Jason Lee's son. I also don't get Moxie Crimefighter, Apple Blythe Allison, Grier Hammond and Coco Riley. These names are awful!

People (especially celebs) need to have a reality check. Would they want to be called Coco or Moxie???

I can only partially agree with all of this. I think (personally) that Pilot is kinda cute (though adding THAT mn and misspelling it wasn't such a wonderful idea). Some celebrities DO give them names like that just for attention, but I don't have a problem with it if the parent truly loved the name. Like, I named my daughter Sailor Nadine, and I ADORE the name Sailor. I don't have a problem with oddball names if a.) they are spelled correctly and b.) the parents actually do love the name and not the attention it gets.

 • Interests:More than anything else in the world I love being with my family, which includes my amazing husband and our three gorgeous daughters. We are currently expecting number four, and are so excited! I am of course a mother first, but I am a writer second. I am a nut about names and etymology in general. I love reading; I’m a sucker for both the more modern fantasy books, like Harry Potter, and the also classics, like Shakespeare. Music is another thing that I could’ve live without, and I have to say my tastes definitely lean towards modern rock: Nickelback, Hinder, Papa Roach, and Theory of a Deadman are my very favorites. Not too big on television, but I couldn’t live without Lost. I also love cars (and driving them!), and I am the proud “mommy” of a Ford Mustang. I’m also pretty big on talking and I like to see myself as friendly, so I hope to see you around the boards!

I agree with Danni. Pilot is kind of cute, though there really is no excuse for Inspektor. Unfortunately I think that most celebrity parents do use more unusual names just for attention, but when you truly LOVE a name that is considered to be a bit "out there" by most... I say go for it!

There are people who like more uncommon names, but some of the celebs are just asking for it. Apple is a food, not a name. To each their own, but it is too much sometimes.

yeah i'm not a huge fan of the names like pilot/apple.. one time, someone told me that th ere was some personwho named their son god, it hink that is not good either... i'm honestly not a fan of the name eunice, i don't find it that attractive.. and one time while i was looking at a list of attorneys, one was named john p. enis.. i thought that was just really bad naming on a paren'ts part... i have heard some bad names.. one kid in school always got made fun of cause his name was justin case.

Justin Case?? That's actually kind of funny... My friend Renee named her son Justin Uther...Just Another...lol. It's not that bad though, because children don't normally go by their first and middle names, so having a funny/odd middle name wouldn't really matter much, in my opinion. If he went by Justin Case, though...That would be odd.

Celebs arent the only peoplewho use weird names..
I know of two sets of twins. One when I was growing up
they were Radinka and Ramilda and my daughter has
twins in her class named Coral (I am fine with that) and
Creme` (pronounced Cremay) sounds way to much like
Creamy to me.

I think Pilot is cute as well. Of course, not Inspektor. I thought Apple was stupid at first, but it grew on me. I can see how it's cute. Expecially since she has normal middle names and she's not, like, Apple Flintstone Zoloft. I think there will be some harassment in the future from guys, however. =/ "I'd like to take a bite out of that Apple." Can't you just see that happening? There are some celebrities that name their kids sort of out there names that we're starting to see in normal people now, though. Like Poet and Story. Those names are cute. So, who knows, maybe these are the names of our future.

My aunt did that to my to my cousin JC! She was suppose to have a girl with the pregnancy, but the doctor was 100% but my aunt believed him and only found a girls name and 9 months later...its a boy! So she named him Justin Casey.

Celeb's need to name there kids ACTUALLY names. Seriouslyy.

I happen to like the name Apple Blythe. She was named after her grandmother. And Coco Arquette was named after a designer!!! HELLO!!! Your names does not make you who you are. YOU make who you are.

I have to say, I'm not a huge fan of names that are WAYYYY out there. Like I'd, personall, never name my kid Apple, Pilot nor Phoenix. I tend to be more traditional with names. Sophia, Sarah...those kinds of names.

No one better ever diss Payton/Peyton Landon/Landyn, or Kennedy. These are both boy and girl names. Not a thing wrong with them.
