My husbands name is Andrew and wet met in Anderson so are considering the middle name for our little boy. Will Wes Anderson (director) be too strong of an association if we name him Wesley Anderson?

I think he's becoming more and more of a household name. However, I think it would be more of an issue if you were naming him Wesley and his surname was Anderson. Having Anderson in the middle makes it much less of an issue in my opinion, especially since the name has special meaning to you!

I think is fine. It is a strong name. Some people May make the association but that’s okay. It is not
An overwhelmingly obvious association. Plus you are naming him after your husband after all.
