What do you think of the name Isolde? I think that it is beautiful but can see myself using it! It is at the top of my guilty pleasures list!
Which spelling do you prefer Isolde, Iseult, Ysolde, Yseult or Esyllt?
Thanks
-Tor

Ee-zolt. The first time I heard it was in the medieval romance Tristan & Isolde. I think it is quite beautiful.

I like the medieval feel...it'd be better for a book or a story than in real life

Exactly Krista! I recently read "Le Morte de Arthur" and when I got to the part about Isolde I feel in love with the name!
I'm using it in a book I'm writing about fairies as the mother's name!

I like it as a fairy tale, but not so much on an actual person.
The sound of it also reminds me of "insult".
I agree its got beautiful charm though.
