I love the name Bailey, but I can't decide if it's better on a boy or a girl. I've heard it on both (Party of Five - boy, the Suite Life on Deck - girl, etc). Please vote and comment.

However, my dog is named Bailey, so my first reaction is "dog".

Sally's boyfriend's neice is named Bailey. So I think GIRL! It is a bit fem for a boy. Maybe cute on a little boy but on a grown man...eh. So I say girl though I'm not a big fan of the name.

I had two female Bailey's in my grade, and I definitely think it sounds more feminine than masculine. I'm not a fan of it, though.

I can somewhat see it on both. I wouldn't particularly care for it on a boy, but I can see it on a cute little boy. I just can't really picture it on a grown man.... well, on a strait grown man (no offense to anyone- I have absolutely no biases )
I can see it age well on a girl, cutesy enough for when she's small. Yet not too cutesy for when she's grown.
Though I don't particularly care for it in general

i have a 2 cousins named Bailey.
ones a girl and the other one is a boy.
i think its a girl name, even though it is cute on a boy when they are little but not when they are grown...

The first time I ever heard it was on a boy so a it being a boy's name sticks in my head. I now find it unusual when I see girls with that name.
