Ezra Dakota Carpenter [18] is Elena's oldest brother. He is a senior in high school, and older than most of his classmates. He enjoys playing in his band, he formed freshmen year. They play at venues every month and Ezra hopes they can make it big. He plays the bass in his band and can play drums as well. He has a crush on this girl at school but the only problem is she is dating his best friend. Ezra is very protective of his younger and only sister. One of the guys that hit on his sister at a soccer match has gotten beat up/. He wont let anyone touch his little sister.

Orly Hanna Carson (16) is the girl Ezra is crushing on. Orly is quite popular and young for her grade, she skipped Pre-K. She loves partying with her friends and telling jokes and just talking on the beach that their town is located on. Orly is dating Ezra's best friend, but she really isn't into it anymore and she's secretly falling for Ezra. She loves his angry, mysterious vibe.

Piper Emilie Carson [18] is Orly's older sister, whom is also part of Ezra's band. she does vocals and keyboard. Orly met Ezra's best friend, through Piper when she took Orly to one of her band practices. Piper is a spunky, opiniated and confident girl who is single right now. she is the onyl girl in the band, and they are like brothers to her. She could roll out of bed without doing her hair and not feel embarrassed in front of them. They have all been really good friends since middle school.

Maverick Jonah Carson (14) is Orly and Piper's younger brother. Maverick is the heartthrob of all the girls in the eighth grade. Despite this, he's only gone out once or twice. He wants to save time to spend on studying, so he can get to a good college. He can be very serious sometimes, but playful when he has freetime. He wants to become an engineer.

Daria Alexandra Rollins [40]  is a physics and chemistry teacher as Maverick Carson's school. She only teaches the advanced placement classes and Maverick is one of her students. Daria has high hopes for him as he seems keen in his studies and is very bright. She keeps her office door open to him at nearly all times to help him out or if he just wants to talk about things, she sometimes sends him information on scholarships, competitions and general articles relating to engineering. Daria herself is happily married. Her husband is actually ten years older than her and Daria is his second wife. Daria has two step-children in their late teens and three children of her own with her husband, ages 8, 5 and 5. Daria adores being a mother and gets along very well with her step-children.

Vanessa Lily Rollins (17) is the step-daughter of Daria. She is very popular and is a cheerleader for her school. Her parents' split was hard on her, but Daria is nice enough. Vanessa can tell that she's making an effort and tries hard to make her feel like she's her mother. Vanessa likes to hook up with "bad boys," much to her guy best friend's dismay.

Reginald "Reggie" Louis Rollins Jr. [15] is the younger brother of Vanessa Rollins, the step-son of Daria Rollins and the older half-brother to three younger siblings that Reggie adores. Reggie likes Daria a lot and doesn't have an issue with his parents being divorced because he was so young when it happened as they divorced twelve years ago when Reggie was only three years old. Reggie is a really easy going guy, he sometimes resents his sister's boyfriends and he has tried to fight them on occasions as Reggie thinks they are a bad influence and don't treat Vanessa well.

Bailey June Young (15) is Reggie's girlfriend. Bailey loves volleyball and plays for the school's team. She really likes Reggie and hopes they stay together. When she's not in her volleyball uniform, Bailey usually wears her hair down in all its curly glory and trades her spandex for flowy hipster parachute pants and a tanktop. Bailey's dad is a minister at a local church, though Bailey's never really been into religion.

Daniel Keegan Young {6} (left) is Bailey's youngest sibling. They have one other sibling who is between their ages. Daniel is very charismatic and charming, people always love him. He loves going to Sunday School and talking to all of the elderly ladies at church. One day, he wants to be a preacher like his dad and grandfather. He sings in the choir with his mom and always puts his heart into the music. Outside of church, Daniel loves toy cars and playing outside.

 

Owen Joshua Latham {4} (right) is the next door neighbor of Bailey and Daniel Young, and their one other sibling. He is the youngest in his family, though his mother is expecting a baby girl soon. He is best pals with Daniel, often riding bikes with him and running around outside. Owen's personality is overbearing for a lot of people, he has an intense amount of energy. He's always getting into trouble because of it.

Celia Caroline Latham (12) is Owen's older sister. She has one older sibling and three younger, including Owen. Celia is usually a warm and happy girl, but lately she's been a little sad. The popular girls at school are being mean to her because she got asked out by a popular guy. She said no, of course, because she's a good girl and knows she's too young, which only made the girls more mad. Her popular friend is doing nothing about it and the girls have gone so far as to post a picture of her with her old, ragged stuffed animal all around the school. Celia's family is worried, but her dada thinks she'll get through it and learn that she's got to stand up for herself.

Lydia Chloe Latham [9] is the younger sister of Celia and older sister of Owen. she has another older sibling besides Celia, and only on oth younger sibling. She is pretty popular at school and during recess she is known as the jump roping queen. She is hoping to show off her skill in the talent show with a couple of friends as they double dutch. She is also in gymnastics and is often seen cartwheeling her way around the home. She is very impatient and thinks her younger siblings are annoying.

Marnie Peyton Latham (6) is the younger sister of Lydia, Celia, and another sibling, older sister of Owen and a soon-to-come baby girl. Marnie is a quiet little girl. She is always wandering off in the park near her house, getting lost in fantasies and playing in leaves with her oldest sister, who is 15. Marnie was expected to be a boy and her parents were very excited after three girls, but she was a girl. Marnie is young, but she knows that her parents were disappointed and she feels bad.

Kobe Patrick Latham [15] is the older brother of Celia, Lydia, Marnie and Owen. Kobe follwed his grandfather's steps by pursuing the sport of boxing which his mother greatly disapproves of. His father doesn't say anything of the matter, because he knows it was his father who imposed the sport on Kobe. Kobe sometimes has to lie to his mother and have his friends cover for him in order for him to get money to enter into a competition or pay for his private lessons. He is an average student, and has been having a hard time covering up bruises from boxing and cuts. His mother has been after him to cut his hair, but he refuses because he has a huge scar on his forehead from boxing.

Isabel Avery Heron (15) is Kobe's girlfriend. Isabel boxes at the same gym as Kobe. She loves the sport but her mother is making her take a break after a recent concussion and a nasty black eye. Isabel's little sister died of cancer two years ago. That was when she took up boxing to deal with her anger at the world. Isabel's mother recently had a baby that Isabel feels is a "replacement baby." She is angry at her parents for doing such a thing, especially because her mother is over forty and having a child was a big risk to her and the little girl. Isabel is defensive and has a very sarcastic, slightly insulting sense of humor. She loves hanging out with Kobe and the guys at the gym because she can just be herself and forget about all the bad things in her life,

Angelique "Angel" Grace Heron [ 1 mos ] is the baby sister of Isabel. She was born to a mother that is 40 yrs old and they considered her a miracle. she was made out of the parent's grief fr their lost child, and hence named this baby Angel. This baby is very happy, and bubbly.

Phoebe Grace Heron (7 when she died, would be 9) was Isabel's little sister and would be Angel's if she were still alive. Phoebe was a happy, bubbly kid who remained so even as she was dying of leukemia. Phoebe and Isabel shared a special connection. They would take long walks together, and Isabel was never embarrassed by her sister tagging along places. Phoebe had a lot of friends that supported her till the end and still support her by making donations to cancer research facilities in Phoebe's name on her birthday every year through the local church. Her loss took a great toll on her family, but they're beginning to see Phoebe's personality developing in Angel.

Graham Hayes Parker [9] was Phoebe's best friend. He was devastated at the death of Phoebe, his only and good faithful friend. They used to walk home from school together, they would share their lunches, and swing on the tire swing in Graham's backyard. Now the tire swing is lonely and Graham is very muc a more serious boy than before. But just like Phoebe would have wanted it he has made new friends, but he will never forget his first best friend. He has two older brothers.

Malcolm Flynn Parker [13] is the middle brother of Graham Parker and their older brother. Malcolm is the more brash of his siblings, sometimes bugging his older brother or being a little bit of a bully to his younger brother, he's loud and makes jokes, does not like to sit still and is contently giving their parents mini heartaches. Recently though, Malcolm has been laying off of Graham, since Phoebe died. Malcolm feels bad about ti and does not know how to approach his little brother or try to help him to be happy again so he avoids him a little sometimes and at others he's somewhat overbearing to Graham, worried something may happen to him now.

Colin Wyatt Parker (17) is the older brother of Graham and Malcolm. Colin has recently been bugging Graham about "moving on." He feels that he should be doing guy stuff instead of thinking about Phoebe. Colin is a preppy guy, he goes to private school and plays for the school's basketball team. Colin has a very serious girlfriend and they are planning to go to college together. He wants to be a lawyer like his father.

Kieran Cecily Gregory (17) is Colin's girlfriend. Kieran is also very preppy and loves to play tennis. She lives with her grandparents and her siblings as her parents died in a car accident a few years ago. Her grandfather has very sexist ideals and wants Kieran to be a housewife. Kieran wants to be a pediatric orthopedist. She is popular and has lots of friends.

Dylan Leila Gregory {4} (with family puppy Sunshine, aka Sunny) is Kieran's youngest sibling by 5 years. She was only three months old when her parents died in a car accident. She doesn't remember them at all, and she loves "Gramps" and "Grammie." Though Dylan is shy at first, when she warms up to someone, she doesn't stop talking. She loves to go for walks, and she treats Sunny as if he were her child. She says that when she grows up, she wants to be just like "Grammie."
