Over the past five weekends, I've been helping out at a weekend kids camp. I have met some kids with very, very interesting names!

Ever

Bondurant (prn bahn-dur-ahnt)

Potter

Rooke (like Brooke without the B)

Kaylin

Hoffman

Cashton (Cassian meets Ashton?? I don't know.)

Thad (his parents said that it is short for Thadlock)

Maxo (twin with Arlo)

Arno (twin with Maxo)

Bob (he was six and had a younger sister named Sabelle)

Kosh

and I had FIVE male Bailey's!

Zoe (it is pronounced like Zo (rhyming with toe) instead of like Zoey)

Lennie

Lainen (prn Lay-nin)

Johnie (just like Johnny)

Sabelle (she was two years old, and her six year old brother was named Bob)

What are your thoughts on the names? Which ones do you like/dislike?

(I'm posting my thoughts below)

I really like the names Ever, Thad, and Lennie. I'm not too keen on Thadlock, but I find Thad charming. Ever is on my guilty pleasure list after hearing it.  I love Lennie on someone else's kid, or maybe in the middle name spot. I think I would prefer it short for something, though.

I like the sound of Cashton, and I think the nickname Cash is adorable. I also thought Kosh was pretty darn cool, though I wouldn't ever use it  B)

Maxo and Arno were sort of cool names, they fit them really well. Lainen was actually a nice name to hear/say, but reading it again makes me think of a disease or a body part. Haha.

I like Ever and Thad, and Zo as a nn for Zoe or other names, but the others are a bit out there for me.
