I've been debating on posting a topic for the name for quite a long time. I know I have before, over a year ago. But back then, I let people shy me away from it. But lately, I am 110% sure I love this name. No changing now!!! I'm not looking for others opinions of the name, I'm already fairly certain on who will say what. Though, if you have something positive to say, I'm always up for it ;) What I am looking for are some good middle name options! :) I'm a little stuck in finding that perfect middle name..

The name is... Saoirse! Pronounced SARE-sha. I know a lot of websites say its SEER-sha as well, but all my name books and other websites all say SARE-sha, and I prefer that. Its an Irish name, meaning "liberty" or "freedom". Of course, it hasn't emerged onto the top 1000 names of the social security administrations list. However its a very popular name in Ireland itself. I can't find exactly how, but many websites I read say its popular there, so I'm taking their word for it.

I've heard it many times... yes there will be pronunciation problems. Other kids wont all know how to say her name if read upon paper. I don't think its that hard, though. The teacher will most likely be the only person actually reading her name, for attendance. Then other kids will be introduced by the child herself, and no one spells their name out in introductions. They say them lol. And I have no worries of my child learning to spell it. Kids know what they grow up with, and there are children out there who can properly spell their name "Alexandria". Plus kids don't properly learn how to sound out what they spell until they reach school, and most kids are learning to spell their name before that. Its not going to be a huge life of misery for a child just because their name is hard to spell. And again, your used to what you grow up with. So this name would be normal for her. And its fairly easy to say, sare-sha. <3

ANYWAYS, I don't want to sit and rant here about that. I want middle name suggestions! NO, I don't want first name suggestions please. If I were to use Saoirse as a middle name, it'd possibly be Amelia Saoirse or Emily Saoirse... I have idea's there. But I would appreciate some middle names for Saoirse<3

I've talked the name over with Mike for a while actually, and its growing on him. I know he likes it. He doesn't think he'd actually use it, but he likes it none the less. Which is enough reason for me to want to at least add it to the list :) Who knows, maybe we will, maybe not. Theres plenty of time before we're having children anyways.
