Ah, okay...I've heard of the Ecce Romani text books. We use Cambridge in my district....most of our fictional family was killed off in the eruption of Vesuvius, haha

My little brother used the Cambridge textbook when he took Latin. They changed the curriculum and got a different teacher after my class. There's actually a Dr. Who episode about the characters from the Cambridge textbooks.

I used to be very fond of Hadley, Makenna, Claire, Hailey, and quite a few other girl names. My boy name tasted haven't changed at all, though.

When I was five or six I used to want a little girl named Jessica Ariel and a little boy named Jeffrey Charming. I also really liked Aladdin and Jasmine at one point.

When I was little, I only liked names that started with M. My name is Malerie; my sisters' names are Melanie and Mandy. I also had three dolls that I dragged around everywhere for a couple of years, and their names were Madison, Mackenzie, and Mercedes. And I had a pet dog named Midnight.

Mm. I don't really remember, but I had a bit of an obsession with the names Rose, Christa, Ariel, Deanna, Alissa, Ben, Thomas and Adam.
My names haven't changed too drastically to be honest.

I just have a much bigger list now!

Wow.. I remember this! B)
It's funny to think how much my taste has changed. If you'd told me I'd like names like Florence, Audrey, Henry and Warren back then, I'd have laughed.

I still love Rose and Thomas. And Adam and Benjamin are still on my list.
Deanna I also still like.. but Ariel and Christa? No.

My taste was much more... "Disney" back then. I don't really know what other way to describe it! Now it's more "Modern Classics mixed with an old-fashioned twist", I suppose.

Well, this is what I found written down, at least ;) My family all remember my barbies names, they had to for every time I lost one or wanted one to get the correct one XD But the others... all lists I had loose in notebooks or whatever. Can't promise its in order, but whatever ;)

God I'm I glad my opinions have changed!!! <3 <3 <3

~Haddie

Oh my! :o Looking back, I remember a lot of these...

I have more written down on notebooks I found lately, but they're too embarrassing to list half of them! :D oh my lord, I had the most... interesting taste in names!!! D:

I'm not even sure what to say about half of them B) but Yas, I couldn't agree more! If you told me I'd like Maeve and Penelope and Eloise back then... HAH! I'm so glad most of these names have changed!!!!

Some of them are the same, I've always loved Katherine, even if I didn't know how to spell it :) I like Ava, Lynette is a thought, kinda like Taylor, I like Matthew spelled traditionally instead of Matthieu or I like Matthias more! Avery [though on a girl], Andie Grier is a nice combo, actually.. Caleb [without the K], Emmeline, Chase.... idk. Most of them though... eek! ;)

Thank god society doesn't have thirteen year olds giving birth, lest they suffer name lists like these ^^

Oh, dear. This is so fun! I was reading this topic the other day and it inspired me to go search through boxes of my old school things. And, wouldn't you know it, I found tons of name lists from middle school and high school in my various notebooks. I found the ones from middle school quite entertaining.

Abigail
Beverley
Bliss
Cassidy
Crescente - I remember this one distinctly because I liked the nickname Cressie.
Demi
Dylan
Elizabeth
Emerald
Flair
Felice
Ginger
Gabrielle
Hazel
Heidi
Isabel
Jacey
Juliet
Kierra
Keeli
Lainey
Lynna
Lola
Luna
Mina
Melrose - I was obsessed with this name
Mimi
Minnie
Missy
Naomi
Olive
Peyton
Pepper
Pheonix
Raechal - I don't know why I decided to spell it this way
Rain
Ricki
Ronnie
Roxanne
Rynnea
Sarie
Sheba
Shyla
Starr
Staycee
Tatum
Torrance
Trixie
Vanessa
Violette

Honestly, I must have been insane. But I think every middle school kid wants to be unique and this was my way of trying to be just that. It didn't work out very well.

My first obsession was at about 7, Gideon.
Then at 8 it was Eric. (I had a HUGE crush on a kid named Eric so it was automatically the best name ever.)
Then Rob after my friend Robbie.
By the time I was 12 it was Scott & Samantha (nn Sam).
At 14/15 it was James, Henry, Samantha (Sam) & Alexa (Alex).
Now at 17 it's James Eric, Kristen Summer (Kris), & Rebekah Grace (Bec). Others are William Isaac & Danielle (Danni).

According to babynamesworld.com....

http://babynamesworl..._of_Blanca.html

It has been used as a girls first name since 1940s and was ranked its highest (#397) in 1990, since then it has seen a decline in popularity.

my favourites were proberbly anything that were considered cool in my book so i liked Zoe,Taylor and Rachel. I was also convinced that my futur girls would be the names i called my dolls (Annabelle)(Chloe) ( I certinly would not be having any boys lol xx)

My sister really has liked the same names right from when she was really little which were Laura and Katie. she also liked the name she called her toy mermaid Begoul but she is strange like that.
