Jessamine Ruby Deight (3) is the daughter of one of Margot's roomates. shebis a bubbly child whom loves her mom more than anything. herfather was out of the picture since borth and she has no siblings. she likes coloring andnpften times she will get her hands on Margots makeup stuff

Jessica Marley Deight (17) is Jessamine's aunt. Her older sister named her child after Jessica, and she was so happy to be an aunt! Jessica is an aspiring architect and loves designing homes. She carries a sketchbook everywhere with her. Her friends think she should be a model, but Jessica brushes off their praise because it makes her feel uncomfortable. Jessica has a bad-boy boyfriend who has recently gotten her into a lot of trouble.

Emmett Martin Deight-Quinn {NB} is part of the "trouble" Jessica and her boyfriend have been getting into lately. He is the cousin to Jessamine, nephew of Margot's roommate. Emmett sleeps a lot, but when he isn't asleep he is very giggly. He's a "wiggle worm," too, and doesn't like to sit still.

Skyler Abraham Quinn (19) is Emmett's father and Jessica's boyfriend. Skyler is a terrible boyfriend and a terrible father. He doesn't care about the wake of emotional wreckage he leaves behind. He runs with gangs and gets Jessica involved in bad things like drinking. Skyler's parents committed double suicide when he was ten and he has never been the same warm boy he used to be.

Peyton Alice Quinn {17} is the younger sister of Skyler. Peyton was eight when her parents committed suicide. Since then, she has wrestled with and gotten over depression. She is now happy despite what she has been through. At school, she leads a club for people who's lives are affected by the suicide of a loved one. Peyton is very compassionate and kind. She hates to see her big brother sliding down hill, but there isn't much she can do.

Callie Olivia Hayden (17) is Peyton's best friend. They met at the first meeting of Peyton's club. Callie's older sister committed suicide at Callie's age due to cyber bullying three years ago. Callie was devastated, but meeting Peyton was the best day of her post-sister life. Callie is very outgoing but often times says strange, creepy things that all relate to her sister's passing.

Asher Jacob Hayden {16} is the younger brother of Callie, youngest of the Hayden kids. Asher had a really hard time with the loss of his older sister, but not as hard as Callie did. Asher is in Peyton's support group, and he has grown to have a crush on her, and they are currently dating.

Kira Jeanine Hadley (16) has a crush on Asher. She can't identify with him though, as she doesn't know what it's like to lose someone you love. Kira is one of Asher's closest friends, but to him, she is nothing more. Kira loves drawing. She has a couple of sketches of Asher that she drew, and one of him kissing Peyton. He asked her to draw that for them, and though she obliged, she felt like Asher doesn't value her as much as he does Peyton.

Kyler Jacob Hadley [10] is the younger half brother of Kira. His father is out of the picture and he lives with Kira and his mom they share. He likes skateboarding and tony hawk is his idol. when he was nine he had to get brain surgery for cracking his skull open for attempting a skate stunt. His mother forbid him to skateboard but it didn't stop him. It is his passion in life.

Gavin Thomas Davis [14] is a friend of Kyler's. The two met at the local skate park, and Gavin took the younger boy under his wing. He is a kind of mentor to Kyler. Gavin is also being raised by a single mother, so he and Kyler have a lot in common. When he's not skating, Gavin is playing bass with the band that he and his friends started.

Kara Emily Sanders (14) is the keyboard player in Gavin's band. she is hardcore allminto rock band music. her parents are divorced and she lives with her father whom really doesn't care about his daughter. she also likes to skateboard. she has an older brother.

Jason Mitchell Sanders (16) is Kara's older brother as well as the guitarist in Gavin's band. At first he wasn't a part of it, but one day when Gavin was over at Kara and Jason's father's house (as they both live with him), he got bored and played the guitar, and Gavin was so impressed that he invited him in the band. His dad cares for him slightly more than his sister, much to Kara's dismay. He goes skateboarding sometimes as well, though he isn't as into it as Kyler, Gavin and Kara are.

Alexis Tiffany "Lexie" Burt {16} and Fiona Avery Mayo {16} are two girls in Jason's class at school. Fiona and Jason are "talking" and she hopes she'll get asked out on a date. Lexie and Fiona have been best friends since second grade, but lately, Lexie has been rude and Fiona feels like their friendship is breaking.

Rhiannon Hillary Mayo [14] is Fiona's younger sister. She is very sociable and loves nothing more than talking and texting on her awesome new phone. She actually has a crush on Jason too, and is really jealous of her sister.

Grady Patrick Mayo {7} is the youngest sibling of Fiona and Rhiannon. He is very adventurous and likes to wonder through a wooded area in their large subdivision with the neighborhood kids. He is very playful and friendly. He loves his sisters, but they don't like having a little brother.

Kelly Chihiro Miyasaki [7] is a little girl in Grady's class. Like Grady, she is the youngest in her family, and has several older siblings. Kelly is a sweet and helpful little girl. She is also very intelligent for her age, and loves anything to do with science. Some of her classmates see her as the teacher's pet, but she has plenty of friends.

Naoto Takumi Miyasaki (11) is Kelly's older brother. He is a cartoonist, and he loves drawing and writing. Naoto always seems to come up with bright and creative ideas, as do his friends, who are also comic artists. Academically, he is a B student, though if he works hard he could get an A.

Aidan George Miyasaki {4} is the cousin of Naoto and Kelley. He is nearly always cracking jokes and messing around. He is the youngest in his family, but has many older siblings. His mom loves to dress him up, and he likes the attention he gets from the outfits. He starts school for the first time in September and he can't wait. He loves people, definitely and extrovert.

Amelia is a very girly girl, just like Aidan their mother adores helping Amelia dress up and would dress her up very often when she was a little kid.
