Well, I don't think I have a worst label on any names... but just as a side note, be careful what you post here. We don't want to offend any ladies who might think a name we "hate" is the name they want to use <3

But to be honest, I am personally not a fan of any names that are "creative" or "made up". I don't hate them, or think they are the worst, per say. However they do make me cringe a bit when I see them ;) Like making a beautiful, normal name look more "unique". I saw a Katherine who spelled her name Quathryne or something like that, with the mother saying that the qu- makes a k sound. which sometimes it does, in her defence. Quack lol. But I personally did not care for it in the least </3 So anything like that would not be my taste in names :)

I understand! :) I didn't think you were trying to! I was just making mention, just in case :) In the past we have had ladies come on and for example say "I so hate the name Jane its so horrible and the worst name a mum could pick and etc etc" and then a next mother come on and be like "me and my husband just picked the name Jane for our little girl.." and they got all upset ;) [for the record, I love the name Jane and its just an anonymous example!]. I hope I didn't come off as offensive in saying so! <3 I wasn't directing anything at you, just a general mention :)

But thats really neat, going to an international school! I'm sure you see some really unique names!!! [some awesome, some not quite ;) ].

These are some interesting names. From the boys list I actually really like Emil & Axel. The girls list has some great ones as well. I like the name Agatha but Agathe "Ag at" is interesting too.

I go to an international school as well, so there are lots of names that I've never heard before.

Girls:
Nisha (knee-sha)
Marilena (ma-i-lay-na)
Annalisa
Silvia
Lula
Gosia (goh-sha)
Shuang (sh-wang)
Alicja (alice-ee-ya)
Cintia (sin-tee-a)
Ekaterina (eh-kat-er-ee-na)
Fabienne
Hieun (hee-un)
Maja (maia)
Orsolya (or-shoy-a)
Sina (zee-na)

Boys:
Piotr (pee-o-tr)
Ciro (ch-ee-ro)
Ju-Ho
Kaiwen
Kaj (kai)
Stefano (ste-fa-no)
Yura (yoo-ra)
Reuven (roo-ven)
Fabio
Jannick (yan-ick)
Boris

Some of them are really pretty, but if I ever used them people will look at me and wonder how it's spelled or pronounced, and I wouldn't do that to my child. Others are okay, and some are just plain weird, but they're from other cultures, so what's weird to me is normal to them I suppose.

Stav & Shir ;) The names of two of my favourite people.
It's so weird to hear people with these names outside of Israel...

Shani is also an Israeli name, but I've heard it on a couple of Dutch people too.

The weirdest? My cousin Tristen Bruce Lee Chang. Or my cousin Skeeter James.
Nickname wise we call my cousin Mason, Jaegerbomb.
And my friend Austin's middle name is Eugene.
I think that's it.

I speak French so all the ones I chose, I like with a French accent and they seem to work in English too.
As for Irish, I'm not sure about the names said with the accent, but if you say them properly they're lovely! ;)

I'm going to have a problem finding names for my kids that work in English, French AND Hebrew...
Eeek.
