Im writing this story and I ned help with a few names. The story is about the teenage princess of a somewhat utopian kingdom who gets kidnapped and rescued by a protective agent and his son when her parents mysteriously vanish. When word reaches her that they were murdered, she has to choose between going back to the anarchy and trying to rule as a 17 year old, or staying safe- but that means never returning.

I'd really the names to be unique and obscure. I love Greek, Gaelic/irish and Roman names.

Princess: Daughter of King Apollo Augustus and Queen Honora Anastasia. 17 years old. Has lived a very privileged life but is not oblivious to the hardships people face outside her kingdom. Is somewhat lonely because she is an only child, and seeks a friend, or at least someone to talk to. Has a very pretty face, and always appears happy and peaceful in public. When at her royal engagements, she always acts the way she should but behind the palace gates, she is loud, funny, and excitable.

(I'd lik 2 or 3 middle names for her since she is a royal)

Special Agent's son: Son of Agent Nathaniel Reyards. 17 years old. Is reluctant to accompany his dad on his mission but ultimately decides it's what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Is also the Princess' love interest. Has no problem speaking his mind, and almost always chooses to do so. Is a natural born leader with a protective instinct, which is what helps nurture his relationship with the princess.

Princess' lady's maids: Quiet and demure, but are the Princess' only confidents. I'd like the names to flow well together. Both are 21 years old.

If possible, if you could name some other random names that fit the Greek/Gaelic/Roman theme that would be great, I'm going to use them to name very minor characters. Thanks!

Your story sounds like a blast!

For the Princess, Diana immediately popped in my mind. When you mentioned "King Apollo" I knew that Diana would work beautifully, since the goddess Diana associates with the moon. When I think of a Diana, however, I usually picture a quiet and shy person, but from your description, I really think this name would fit. You could also named your character Desdemona and nickname her "Mona", or even Daphne. Celena is also another name that means "moon". Hope I helped with that cheerful princess!

For the Special Agent's son, you could use Orion. I thought this name would work really well with Diana, since Orion is a constellation and Diana is the goddess of the moon and stars. (Orion technically means "Son of Fire" but if ever asked, explain the constellation relation, haha!) Darrius is also a good name as it means "He who upholds the good".

The maids are a challenge. Personally, I like Shreya and Gwynn (can be spelled Gwinn). I'm not sure if these are Irish, Greek, or Roman, but they sound very nice together. Alissa and Cassandra are also great Greek names that flow well. If you repeatedly mention these two, you can short the name "Cassandra" into "Cassia", but I think writing "Cassandra" is much better. Corinna is also another name, and it means "Maiden". Corinna and Cassandra would also fit together.

Here are some others names:

Lydia

Rhea

Petra

Sirena

Calliope

Lucia

Melina

Pandora

Tessa

Xenia

Hope you pick one of the names listed above! Let me know if I helped!

Sorry, but I actually thought of Artemis... I just wanted to say that. You know, the one who gets less attention for being Greek?

By the way, Orion raped one or more ( A little rusty on Greek Mythology, and Roman Mythology, but I still love it ) of Artemis/Diana's hunters...
