I am going to a primary school for prac and am in a year 6 class (11/12 y.o) and they have a buddy class with the kindergartens. I was in there with them the other day and I noticed one of the kinders were called Ellazae. I asked how you pronounced it, and apparently it's pronounced Eloise.

What do you all think? Personally, I like the way it looks, but I would never say it as Eloise. I said it Ella-zay when I first saw it.

It looks pretty, but I definitely don't understand how someone would get Eloise out of that.

I completely agree. I know a girl names Alize, prounounced Al-uh-zay. Which is what I assumed Ellazae was similar to.
